Great bands and great show! Don’t know why Mumford headlined, cage should have but otherwise it was great!
First off couldn't have asked for a better line up. Every bands performance was on point. Mumford being my favorite of course! However I was seriously impressed with the venue and their ability to keep the show moving with only 5 minutes between sets!!! Excellent job 👍
This is the second year I've gone. Last years show had 9 bands & this year had 7. Seen 2 of them (Cage The Elephant & Mumford & Sons) Both were worth seeing again. I have been dying to see Judah & the Lion & the were amazing. Looking forward to them being on tour again. Jimmy Eat World & Shaed were good. Vampire Weekend, who i didn't know too much about , were excellent as was Of Monsters & Men. Can't wait for next years show!!
Great show and venue, only disappointment was the food and drink prices at the concession stands: totally ridiculous. I can almost buy 24 beer for the price of one at the show. I understand there’s a convenience premium but $17.50 for a Budweiser king van is just stupid.
Great line-up and well run from a technical stand-point. The revolving allowed for very little downtime, which is important when you're standing for 5 hours. Never saw Cage the Elephant before, we went to see Mumford and Vampire. Left the show completely overwhelmed by Cage. Only thing I'd cut would be allowing the DJs of the station do their "comedy" skits and intros. They were wildly amateurish and self gratuitous. It was like you had to suffer through high school kids showing their funny home video, and then tolerate whatever they did on stage before the adults came out to perform.
I was disappointed with the sound. It sounded very muffled. Maybe it was where I was sitting but there was no way to know that when I purchased tickets.
I thought I had purchased tickets to a Mumford and Sons show but shortly before the event learned that it was so much more. The staging and logistics were fabulous and minimized the downtime between the acts with a rotating platform. Although I had gone to see Mumford, and they were great, I have to give top rating for music to Vampire Weekend and top rating for stage show to Cage the Elephant, lead singer Matt Shultz is amazing. Sound was good especially for an arena, security was tight but efficient, food and beverages were typically overpriced but readily available and the crowd was very engaged. A long, loud night but really fun with a terrific selection of bands.
We had a good view of the stage and the screens. Sound quality was very good. Loved Mumford and Vampire Weekend. Loved the way the stage rotated so that the bands came on very quickly and kept the show moving. Great concert but I’m outraged over paying $18 for a can of beer and $8 for a water.
I had such a great time seeing all of these incredible bands in one night. The show lasted for no less than 5 hours!! The seat wasn't the best and far up but I could still see everything and the sound was amazing. I wish the screens were bigger. Since they are intended for everyone who's far and not for those who are near anyway, they should be even bigger. The music was wonderful and I really came for Of Monsters and Men and Mumford & Sons but all of the other bands were incredible!!! I really really enjoyed it. It was EPIC.
5 hours straight of amazing music. One talented artist/band after another. I thoroughly enjoyed everyone’s performance and I thought the revolving stage is genius. What a great way transition between bands with little down time. This is my second not-so-silent festival and I can’t wait til next years. Thank you and rock on!!!
