Bands were awesome.....worst pre concert experience ever

by Bill on 9/8/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Our tickets stated concert started at 2pm....admission was finally opened at 3 pm only to be told you could not go to your seats until 5:30 pm....2 1/2 hours waiting with very little sitting available sucked....worst experience I have ever had at a concert and I have been going to concerts for over 45 years. Bands were great but still does not make up for the worst experience ever. Then to top it off, all those who were supposed to be on the grass behind the seating were told to go sit where ever they wanted....we paid lot's more in dollars then they did and they took seats in front of us and then most stood so you could not see the stage. Very poor management decision made and may not ever come back to this venue because of this terrible experience....

Venue is trash but the performance were well done

by Rosecity on 9/8/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

A cashless venue where one beer costs more than an 18 rack. No backpacks nor chairs of your own. The performances were five stars tho.

Loved every band. Next year can they all be on one stage?

    Time

by Pirate on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Day before concert entey time was pushed back 1 hour. Lots of folks did not receive the email, so longer wait time in line. Otherwise, it was great. Staff was friendly. Smooth concert experience.

    Somewhat Disorganized

by Springfield43 on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

The concert tickets said the concert started at 14:00. The gates did not open until 15:00 and we were not able to get to our seats until 17:00. The lineup seemed a little off with Queensryche playing with George Thorogood and Sammy Hagar. Queensryche sounded garbled and harsh. George Thorogood and Sammy Hagar both played a very good show. Overall I would say the experience was pretty good but not great.

    PITG 2022 Review

by Mike on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

The music and bands were great.Food and drinks at the venue were very expensive. I was glad to see the people that had the cheaper grass tickets get upgraded to more expensive seating but i paid a bunch of money for my tickets and got the same seating as the cheap seat people did.

    Worst Concert Experience Ever

by PK on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

My tickets said 2-6P on Sunday and that's what I expected (due to possible noise issues with neighboring landowners). Instead--gates did not open until 3P. After being subjected to a series of garage bands for 2.5 hours, someone told us they just found out that the actual concert gates would not open until 9P and that Sammy would not come on until 10P. That meant another 3.5 hours of 3rd-rate music, high cost food and beverage, etc. We left without ever getting to see the concert. Had there been posting at the concert or a notification of what to expect--I might think differently. Had I known the concert actually started at 9--we would have made other arrangements. They got their money so I'm sure no one will care one bit. Went to Beach Boys the next day and it was great and on time....

    Easy peasy

by Dl. Bailey on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Purchasing the Smy Hagar ticks went smoothly.but, there sould be an option to print them out in case you don't have a art phone and preference of printing out instead. They can still be scanned.

    Pain in the grass

by M on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Great show but damn that venue is horrible. Its not the amphitheater itself its the horribly trained staff and the absolutely ridiculous rules that exist solely to extort more money from you. Website says you can bring in a small cooler and back pack but thats not the case -you can check them at the gate for $10 . Also $47 for 2 beers lol. Parking lot staff is an absolute joke-got a little turned around and asked them where aisle 32 was and he told me he didnt know. Terrible staff

    Hagar and Company

by EB on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

The show was great. The venue did not open at the time listed on the ticket leading to mass confusion. The start times were not listed for the interior venue open and when the concerts actually started. I spent 9 hours at what I thought would be a 4 hour show. Other than that Good music and fun atmosphere!

    Toddlers 1st Concert

by Missy on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

I took my 3 year old granddaughter to her first concert experience and this was the best outcome I could have expected. She had such a blast and danced hard! Definitely lots of memories were made as well as a couple friends. This was also my first Pain in The Grass experience, I can't wait for next year! We will be attending every year.

    Good Music

by Queenie on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

I enjoyed several of the bands. I was VERY disappointed though as our son had bought tickets for the grass seating and I decided two days before to get us actual seats as my husband has terrible knee pain. I purchased us 3 tickets for seats and got there and everyone was getting FREE upgrades. In fact the people directly behind us had free upgrades. I asked if we could get an upgrade since we had actually paid for our seats and were told NO.

    Sammy in Seattle

by Bogey Rogey on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Venue is great, food and supplies good. Little overpriced. Get star parking or pack extra patience. One road in and out long lineups after concert. A store close to parking lot would definitely cash in. Would be back in future knowing what we learned.

I was betrayed with the start time

by Hirez on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

The start time was advertised as 2pm. However, the gates didn’t open until 3pm. And then, we couldn’t take our seats until 6pm. Had I known it starting that late, I wouldn’t have arrived at 1pm. It made for a very long 12 hour event.

    Misleading

by MN Momma on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

We flew there just for Sammy Hagar. In fact, when we bought the tickets we had no idea it was part of this festival weekend which was a disappointment. When I realized it was a festival is when in double checked the start time which was 2 pm. The times are published all wrong for the entire event. Very unclear and difficult to get clear information from anyone. The venue is probably fantastic when you don’t have hundreds of trashed people walking around, easy in and out. Of course. I one mentioned the clear bag policy so I had to dump my purse in a plastic baggie and carry that around. The only reason the event is getting the stars is all Sammy Hagar.

    Meh

by nvmyvw on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

First off …..the gates opened an hour late. Great that there were lots of vendors open and the food was great. Nita Strauss didn’t play (it seems) queensryke and George thorogood played and sounded great but Sammy and the circles sound was disappointing….very low volume and virtually no guitar

    Slow roll

by Cowboydanny on 9/7/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

They need to get the time when people are allowed to be seated! The concert was good once it finally started. This was my first time there and found out I'd payed Way to much for my tickets $365 in row (206)
