Great group of artists performing an incredible concert!!!
A relaxed atmosphere and talented singers made for a pleasurable evening at Lexington Opera House. My husband and I enjoyed the variety of talented performers, even though some were completely new to us. We were disappointed that Billy Ray Cyrus was not there, but John Michael, Joe Nicholls, and Darius Rucker played an extra song to attempt to make up for his absence. Walker Montgomery has a wonderful voice & I predict that he will follow in his father's footsteps and will be successful in the recording business.
My wife and I were initially attracted tot he event because of Darius Rucker. He was great! But the diversity of the talent and the amount of entertainment exceeded our expectations! And it was for a great cause. we will make this an annual event on our calendar.
The Lexington Opera House is a great venue, get to hear a variety of singers and I would choose acoustic over high tech any day. Top it off with raising over $120,000 for the Children's hospital.
Maddie & Tae, Kristian Bush, John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery Gentry, Sam Hunt, Hunter Hays, Josh Turner...so many fantastic artists in one venue. The Opera House has a small enough number of seats and great acoustics--it was easy to see and hear the artists. In addition, the money raised was donated to charity. What an exciting evening!
First time at the Lexington Opera House. The venue was easy to get to and to get in and out of. Their staff from very friendly and helpful. We had not been to an acoustic concert before so we were not sure what to expect. The show format was interesting and you got to hear more from each artist than in a regular concert setting. The music was great and we really enjoyed the various talents that were there. The best part of this format was that we were able to see some acts that we would not have gone to see otherwise. For example, Hunter Hayes. Before this show I would not have purchased a ticket to see him. However because of his stage presence and showmanship I would now go to one of his shows. All in all a great show for a great cause. But I have to say that the best part was meeting Troy Gentry before the show!
All 12 artists were great, both performing and interacting with the crowd. I was surprised that they performed 3 songs each, I was expecting only 2, which was a GREAT surprise. To have that many artists come together for a great cause says a lot about the artists themselves. I would definitely attend future concerts like this.
Every single artist was awesome! Where else could you see so many talented musicians at one time!!
I am not really a country music fan. This was an early birthday present for my boyfriend. We had a great time and are very glad we went. Being that it was for a good cause was an added bonus!
Perfect place to have this show. The sound was amazing. The artist were amazing. I took my daughter and husband and they loved it. I did not even mind paying so much for the tickets because it was for such a great cause. We would love to go again.
