considering that it rained, they handled it very well. all the bands were good and they continued to spray water on us since it was so hot.

VIP was misleading and a waste of money at this venue. Over sold, no seats available until the last 20 minutes of the day when most of the crowd left. That was the whole reason we paid for VIP. I can sit on the ground anywhere free of charge. The music we were able to hear after the storm rolled through was great though!

The Backyard BBQ was an amazing event. Great music, beautiful venue, big fun for all of us!

Bands were great the venu was hot. Vinoy Park has little tree cover and every bit of shade was being utilized by attendees. many people were turned around at gate for having chairs, umbrellas, coolers etc... was not posted well on website for info about the venu. We had to leave a hydro flask at gate even though we offered to dump the water out that was in it. We just wanted it to keep waters we purchased cold. Waters were $3 a pop for a small bottle and I would be willing to bet more money was made on water than beer that day. Show was good just wish it was cooler outside or more shade was available. We saw a good amount of people fall out due to the heat. We sat under a tree with about 100 people to the left of the stage so we never really saw the bands so I coukd have done better by sitting in my pool at the house listenibg to live radio version...

THIS WAS OUR SECOND YEAR ATTENDING THIS EVENT AND WE LOVED IT AGAIN! THE STORM THAT CAME THROUGH PUT A DAMPER ON THINGS BUT THEY CONTINUED PLAYING ONCE IT CLEARED UP. WE DROVE 6 HOURS FOR THIS EVENT AND WILL DO IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR.

Great event - great bands - will do VIP again! Shade, cheap beer, good food, and up-close to the bands!

I thought all the bands except Bastille were incredible. I just thought Bastille was lip singing and just jumping around the stage than actually performing. Vinoy Park was beautiful and great place to have an all day concert.

I have to admit I had an absolute blast! My daughter was so excited to see that Matt Healey was real. We met a new friend and got some great pics! The venue was awesome, people were nice and the weather was perfect. We paid the $20 for tickets being as be do not live there. Traveled 5 hours to see this and it was %100 worth it! Only bad part was getting a parking ticket along with the other 100 people parked along 4th.

Show was timely, organized, and well done. It was also good to see VIP done right. Huge tent with shade, free sodas and water, reduced price beer (made back the money for VIP with this alone), and a chance to meet the artist. I enjoyed myself significantly, and I know many others did as well.

Good event well organized. Plenty of food and drink opportunities with a fair number of bins to throw trash. Also a good aspect was the large number of toilets.

The atmosphere is pretty good here. I'm not usually a concert person, large crowds make me nervous. However, it was so chill and there was so much space that I got used to it. There are lots of great food and alcohol choices. There was a great lineup, but we went primarily to see Bastille. Dan was awesome. He even walked through the crowd and performed on a smaller stage for part of one song, then walked back through to the other stage. It was awesome. What a great show!!!!

They really do treat the VIP's great! I could never go to another event without being a VIP. They have spoiled me. The concert was great. The bands were great. Vinoy Park is the best setting you could possibly have. This was an amazingly fun time. I am 52 and I went with my 19 year old daughter. We both had a great experience.

The entire show was awesome. I especially liked Sir Sly Bad Suns Kongos who are fabulous But Bastille what can u say but that they were the delicious icing on a cake saving the best for last.

This was the first concert I have ever been to and honestly, it was awesome! The bands were unbelievable, the food was awesome, and the other activities (volleyball/ rock climbing) were so much fun! The setting in St. Petersburg's gorgeous Vinoy Park made the whole experience even better and I can't wait until next year!!! Only thing that would have made it better would be if the porta potties had toilet paper LOL
