    BEST SUMMER EVENT YET!!!

by Anonymous on 8/25/15Franksville Memorial Park - Franksville

The entire day was awesome! No problems with crowds, except long lines for beverage tickets! It was a very peaceful, uneventful day....why can't everyone ALWAYS behave themselves??? Brought in our own chairs which went untouched while we left to listen to other bands. The set-up of the stages and the continued music throughout the day made this an unforgettable event...well worth the price of admission.

    Overall good

by Jingles8200 on 8/25/15Franksville Memorial Park - Franksville

Some of the bands I will never watch again. There was alot of issue with sound quality across alot of the stages. Few choices in vendors and no ability to go back to your car should it be needed, even for medical issues. The selection of bands was amazing! Overall an amazing cincert.

I was excited to go to this event this year as it was only 5 minutes from my house so I would be able to stay for awhile and go back home let my dogs out and then come back. It was unfortunate to find out once you were in you could not leave and come back. For as expensive as the tickets were I would like to get my moneys worth and have the freedom to leave and come back as it's an all day long event. The food options were not very good for an all day event either. only 2 main food stands, one with a tiny frozen hamburger and bun not even cheese for $5. The bands that we seen in the time we were there were good. Just the organization of the event that was lackluster. Also not clear direction on where to park as the entrance road was under construction many people didn't know they could go down the road to the entrance so were driving around in circles looking where to park.

Volbeat was incredible!! So glad we came.

You did an excellent job. The event was well put together. We enjoyed how open and uncrowded it was, you had plenty of room to move around and be relaxed. People were helpful and friendly. Plenty of porta-johns with hand washing stations. The line for drinks were never very long. Music was great. We are bringing 4 friends next year.

by AELW on 8/28/13SHADOW HILL RANCH - Twin Lakes

American Love Drug, Red Line Chemistry, All That Remains, Soil, Volbeat.... and tons more... Awesome. It was a great day. We will most defiantly go again next year. Gates opened at 9a.m. and it was all day till after midnight with the after party. Good food, drinks, awesome music, autographs, interviews from the bands, 3 stages of rock music all day long how can you go wrong?? You Can't!! 95 WIIL ROCK Fest rocks out every year and I Love them!! There radio station is the best around as well. You have to check them out, 95.1 Wiil Rock, Milwaukee/Chicago area.

The festival itself wasn't the greatest. The headline band was worth it. I think the station should of picked a better lineup with Volbeat. The concert was close by so I didn't have to drive a long distance so that was a good.

    Awful!!!!!!!!!

by Sydster16 on 8/27/13SHADOW HILL RANCH - Twin Lakes

The worst music fest I've ever experienced. We purchased the Platinum VIP tickets.....what a waste of money!! All the disorganization, running out of beverages, the buffet was horrid. We stood in line for the buffet for 1 1/2 hours. cold brats, dry ribs, some bacon and green mixture, which was the only thing that was good...everything else was gone. The lack of security....No one was checking armbands for the "gold" section. Anyone and everyone were going up the "gold" section. Overly drunk people everywhere.... I don't know what we we paid for??? COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!!! I will never go again...even if someone offered me fee tickets.

VOLBEAT!!! - need I say more

by TKDole on 8/27/13SHADOW HILL RANCH - Twin Lakes

Being I'm in my forties, I've seen many shows. But experiencing my 16 year-old's first concert experience was truly unforgettable. His views on live music before Saturday weren't very favorable since he's only experienced live music through the speakers of his computer. When he got there, Nonpoint was finishing up their set. My son's eyes lit up like it was Christmas. Priceless! We were there for All that Remains and Volbeat and were NOT disappointed. Awesome shows!! We'll see you next year!

Horrible planning. Platinum tickets were a joke.

by Xtrminater on 8/27/13SHADOW HILL RANCH - Twin Lakes

Worst event I've been to. Had to wait in line for over an hour to get food which was supposed to be included with my Platinum tickets. Lots of fights broke out in the golden circle.

All Ranch Hands gave us different answer everytime we asked the same questions. Need more signs. Need more details on website. Did not know we could not leave, get a hand stamp, and come back in. Did not know the times for food service. What would be served. They should have people serve the food, them the attendees would not be controling the amounts served and causing back ups and delays. The building needed air conditioning, those poor bartenderesses, all of that time in the heat. Bathroom was out of towels. Did not know where we needed to go for wristbands for platinum tickets. Thought bathrooms and food were near stage. Thought all drinks but liquor were included. Should have posted about food and beverage tickets and prices on website. thought there would be chairs included.Needed more garbage cans. Need more shaded areas. Paid for vip parking and was told did not exist. need more lights in parking lot. will not go again.disappointed.

    Volbeat killed it!

by Captain76 on 8/27/13SHADOW HILL RANCH - Twin Lakes

The bands were awesome, especially Volbeat and All That Remains. Meet and greets were handled well and got to meet a few of the bands. Only complaint as far as that goes was that one of the signing areas was by invitation only...you had to be handed a card by random people and you couldn't figure out who. I was also disappointed that the website said no "professional" cameras, yet they were everywhere. I would have brought a nicer camera if I knew nothing would be checked. Even though I didn't see any fights, there were a LOT of over served (ridiculously...can't stand up...drunk) people out there and there were no pat downs or searches whatsoever. That was kind of surprising. The gold circle tickets were absolutely worth it and would by them again. They weren't kidding when they said close to the stage. Food and drinks were a great value as well

    Airbourne rocks!

by Airbournefan on 8/27/13SHADOW HILL RANCH - Twin Lakes

The fest sucked! Airbourne rocked but the fest was very poorly run. No band schedules; intermission of bands had no music playing at lengthy times, parking attendants didn't have a clue what they were doing.................

    Freaking Awesome!!!

by Ragingfever on 8/27/13SHADOW HILL RANCH - Twin Lakes

As usual VOLBEAT impresses. They sound so good live it's amazing. They sound just like their albums. It only goes to show how real this group is. What they record in the studio is exactly what you'll hear on stage except for a lot more energy. Go see VOLBEAT, you wont regret it.

    low energy

by mackattack2112 on 8/27/13SHADOW HILL RANCH - Twin Lakes

Truly disappointed in this event, seems every year they get bands with less and less energy. Volbeat was a huge let down for a finale, next time let Soil or someone that has enough good material get the last slot. it was like they were playing to fill the time. Might be our last year. 2 years ago this event rocked the house, going downhill
