Fun and a once in a lifetime opportunity

by Sarah Wolski on 11/29/23Amalie Arena - Tampa

My experience was so much fun being able to announce an artist but also being able to meet one of them was absolutely incredible. That is going to be an experience I never forget. Thank you 93.3 FLZ, iheartradio and capital one.

    Not really all the hype

by SPgirl on 11/29/23Amalie Arena - Tampa

This was my first jingle ball and it wasn’t all the hype. Disappointed actually. And kalii was announced but was never at the show . Paid for floor seats for my first experience and it wasn’t worth it

    Tough Technical Issues, so-so Line-up

by Cindy M on 11/29/23Amalie Arena - Tampa

This was my 4th Jingle Ball, and the first with obvious technical issues throughout. Some performers handled it better than others. The line-up wasn't as exciting as a few years ago, but it was a fun night. Teddy Swims and Niall Horan were both great! .

    Sound system

by Jt on 11/29/23Amalie Arena - Tampa

There were times the bass in the sound system was overwhelming - people in our section were all complaining - took away from the artist vocals. One artist even apologized for technical difficulties - we came for Niall so apparently it got worked out before he came on because he was amazing!! Ended up really enjoying Paul Russell - and Teddy Swims! Overall a good event and maybe will return depending on the lineup.

    Enjoyable

by Antonio on 11/29/23Amalie Arena - Tampa

Overall the event wasn’t bad, but the Tampa 2022 jingle ball was much better! Niall Horan, Teddy Swims, and Zara Larsson were absolutely incredible and I would love to see them back again another time. However, Paul Russell, Doechii, and Lawrence were a bit underwhelming for me and just felt like filler.

    Poor lineup Tampa got Jipped

by Lsh on 11/29/23Amalie Arena - Tampa

Poor lineup. So disappointing. Thank goodness Niall Horan was there. The rest was a joke.

    Average

by Sean on 11/29/23Amalie Arena - Tampa

933 Jingle Ball 2023 was just okay. Niall was great and so was Zara. However the lineup fell short and has gotten smaller and worse every year. The show ended very early around 10. An artist dropped out since they were sick which is fine but the time didn’t seem to be adjusted anywhere else in the lineup. Price point was decent but wasn’t worth it. There were tons of seats open as well.

    Great experience!!

    by L on 12/6/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

While sitting in the absolute LAST row was kinda terrifying, the concert itself was AMAZING! the Performers were great. Lizzo was stunning and Sam Smith was stellar!

Worst concert experience in a long time

by Bob on 12/5/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

Sam Smith is a very profound artist in my friend's life, stating its all she listened to for several weeks at one point in time. One song she introduced me to was Dancing with a Stranger, which has come of have different meanings for me the more i learned the words(my wife died in 2016 and now I'm dancing with a stranger that reminds me of her). This concert was supposed to be a very special experience for the both of us, since I had to quit listening to Dancing with a Stranger because it reminded me of my wife too much...that is until she had me sing it as a duet with her like they do in the actual song. Well being that there were several artists performing we decided to make a late appearance as her best friends relative passed away and needed comforting. Having been to dozens of concerts, I figured 2-2 1/2 hours would be sufficient with 3-4 opening acts. After driving two hours and looking for a parking spot for several minutes and finally getting to the venue, we were turned away because there was "20m left"

    Jingle Ball

by ER on 12/4/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

This year was a bit of a disappointment. It was much earlier in the month than usual and we prefer Saturday concerts over Sunday. The lineup was not impressive. The only reason we went, was to see Lizzo. She was Fabulous!

    Not worth the expense

by Unhappy mom on 12/4/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

I paid $740 for 4 tickets in what I thought would be really great seats. Seats were not labeled with obstructed view yet a camera guy stood in front of us the entire concert. I have many photos and videos to show. It was disappointing to say the least. This was my sons first concert so I paid more than I normally would so he could have a good experience.

    Disappointing

    by L. J. on 12/4/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

French Montana was on the lineup but no one communicated that he was no longer performing, which was the whole reason we bought tickets. They should have added another performer or had the other headliners do more songs, would have liked to see a longer set from Lizzo.

    Not the greatest but ok..

    by A. K. on 12/4/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

If it wasn’t for Lizzo the concert would have been terrible. We went to see the band Why Don’t we and they couldn’t make it. My daughter was in tears. Lizzo was awesome and made the concert worth it! And she made my baby girl happy again!

    Not elaborate

    by Domv555 on 12/4/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

Wish the sets had more to look at... Its kinda like a bar performance... At our level you were looking at a black stage & just a person singing... Wish it was more like a real concert! However the Arena waw super user friendly, well organized, very smooth parking & event!

The sound was horribly bad with the bass turned way to high

by Concertobsessed on 12/4/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

It was not the most positive experience. The sound was horrible. I could hardly hear the voices of the singer over the maxed out bass. It was really disappointing.

    JUST WASN'T UP TO PAR

    by C. on 12/4/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

I've been taking my kids to the Tampa Jingle Ball every year since 2013 and to me this year was a big let down. In the years past the line up of artist was much better. This year it seemed as if they had trouble finding people to fill the slots not only in quality but quantity. The other thing I found to be a big disappointment is that every year FLZ always had high energy DJ's with amazing sage set ups that included crazy light displays and pyrotechnics. I guess the event left me feeling as if this show was put on with a shoe string budget and little thought. This may have been an end to a great family Christmas tradition.

    Great but...

by WDW Fan on 12/4/19Amalie Arena - Tampa

The show was great especially Sam Smith & Lizzo however the reason we bought tix for Jingle Ball was to see WDW and they cancelled the day before 😕 Apparently their flight got cancelled but their opening show guy did make it back to the USA, a little sus 😒 I suggest don’t book artists that are across the world ending their 8 month tour because obviously they are exhausted I probably will not buy jingle ball tix again
