My husband and I joined a group of friends with my brother to attend 84-Van Halen & Def Leppard Tribute in Orlando. The band was such a quality of voices, instrument performers, and presented a great show. All around us enjoyed a lot remembering 80's hits, and the cool personalities of the band members.
I will never see the appeal of House of Blues in Orlando. If you don't manage to get on the small floor, chances are you'll have an uncomfortable obstructed view.
First off, the same people do Def Leppard and Van Halen, plus or minus a different person thrown in. Heavy on backing tracks. I prefer bands who play everything live and the sound that comes with it.
They played as both Def Leppard and VH. They played for a full hour as Def Leppard. Took a 15 minute break and came back out as VH, with the only newcomer being Eddie. They played another 1 1/2 set. Great show, would go back again and again!!!
From the very beginning, both groups were excellent. The best I have seen in a long time.
For $24 total, it was well worth the price. Good show!
If you want hear a real tribute to Van Halen in the Roth category, 84 does just that. Vocal tone, cat calls, band sound, musicianship, and showmanship, all lines up the rendition, to really exceed expectations. This is not a cover band.
I went for the 2nd time to see this band at the house of blues in North myrtle beach and if they came back tomorrow i would go see again!
Great show. First Van Halen tribute band I have seen and definitely wasn’t disappointed! Look forward to seeing them again!
From personality and performance to equipment, 84 provides the most authentic Van Halen cover. The opening act, City Awake, was also incredible.
