Great energy! Very talented dancers and singers. Female singers in particular impressed me. They did a fabulous Michael Jackson review. Young man who sang Michael Jackson was good but did not impress me.
It wasn't any better than what I've seen on cruise ships. However, the costume changes the girls kept doing was pretty amazing. Overall, not a bad performance, but not great.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Great energy and dancing. Lead singers were much better at the concert than on the little commercial they showed before the show. Instrumentals were into it ,too. Great show.
again tropicama put on a great show for there guests - im going again with friends for third time this tuesday - nothing less than terrific show agaim - cant wait to see whats comimg next
80's Flashback Tour was really fun. They put on a great show. We got in line about half an hour before the show and were concerned because the line was huge. However, even though there were no assigned seats it was not a problem, we were 5 rows from the stage. The show lasted about an hour and a half and it was really good.
The best for sure. We saw the show last week and it was absolutely amazing!!! All the cast gave an excellent show. The singers are very powerful and dancers gave a lot of energy. For sure we'll return to see the show during the summer with friends :)
80s Flashback is the best show we saw at the Tropicana. We've seen many shows at the Tropicana's showroom last few years and it remains the best of all. The singers do a wonderful job, they are really talented and the dancers are full of energy. We can't wait to return to Tropicana in the hope that the show will still be there.
I have never been to a show that had so many songs and dances in rapid succession, never even stopping for some clapping! It was amazing. Great singers, dancers, stage props and overall energy levels. Highly recommended!
Disappointing show. The music was great but the dancing, costumes and staging were awful.
Show was very professional and the performers were outstanding I completely enjoyed watching the show and listening to the music One note/observation could have sung a song from the movie Dirty Dancing I am planning on seeing the show again
Great songs, great dancers. Very fun. Only wish more of the costumes were 80's themed. Some of the dancers moves are not timed together. But this is the beginning of the run. They are very talented and do a great show. Usher does not seem to pay attention to whether you paid more for the better seats or not. He was seating us in the back until I pointed out that we had paid for the better seats. Then he sat us right up front and center.
Glad these tickets were 1/2 price, definately not worth seeing.
80's Flashback was great..it brought back lots of memories. The Michael Jackson tribute was awesome!!!
I did not like the method of seating in the theatre. We bought general admission tickets but the seats numbers on our tickets were not honored. Instead, ushers led groups into the theatre and seated us where ever they deemed suitable. Seating seemed totally at the whim of the ushers, based on whether you were old or well dressed or whatever was in their minds. It spoiled the start of the evening for all of us. The singers were very talented, and the choreography reminded us of cruise ship productions. The show lasted about 75 minutes, for which we paid around $60.
enjoyed it a lot with my children..... i have to let them see it to make them understand the kind of music we have in my time ..and they enjoyed it..
I was very happy to receive this e-mail...my husband and I were so excited for our very much needed night away from 'life', we booked a room at the Trop, ate dinner at Carmine's and then had tickets for the 80's Flashback. As soon as the first act came out, I thought I was sitting watching the show...America's Got Talent...but with that being said these dancers certainly weren't going to Vegas....Sharon, Piers and Howie would have given them all the big X. The only singer that was remotely good was the brown hair lady, the blonde was horrible and the male singer was ok....many ppl during the show got up and left. It was very disappointing and money not well spent. Many of our friends were waiting for us to go so we could tell them whether or not to see the show....our words to them...CHEESY... just a big disappointment.
Take a seat in the Way Back Machine to a time when wearing roller skates and hot pants was no big deal.Sockless guys in pink shirts,skinny leather ties, and white suits? Honey, they were hot ! Listen to some of the best music ever written and produced! Welcome to the 80's.!! This show presented at the Tropicana was well produced, colorful and a lot of fun. The dancers, singers as well as the musicians were amazing .This show runs 90 minutes and it was a great entertainment value.
I really enjoyed this show. I grew up in the 80's, from the age of 10-20. I knew every song and they brought back so many good memories!
