    UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

by Perceptor on 3/17/10Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

Sorry it took so long, but after a month being at home, I had to take some time to gather my thoughts to sum up all-star weekend. Right here, right now, one word to describe the recent NBA ALL-STAR weekend says it all; UNBELIEVABLE!!! The game itself was electric, but the real buzz throughout the entire weekend was about Jerry Jones brand new stadium. I've been in football stadiums before, but absolutely nothing like this, and certainly not on a grand scale such as this. I've heard some people say "I have seen the future" well, I hate to say it, but with this brand new stadium, it's safe to say that the future is already here. It's also safe to say that people in Dallas Texas (and anywhere else in the country) can hardly wait until February 2011 and Superbowl XLV, and just so you know, Jerry Jones getting the bid for the next Superbowl wasn't a coincidence. Was it a surprise? Hardly. Bottom line-I can hardly wait until the next NBA ALL-STAR weekend in L.A. That's all!

    Parking

    by 78254 on 3/13/10Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

I have been to many big events (Super Bowl, Golf US Open, BCS & Rose Bowl etc). But I will say that this was the worse organized event for people driving to it. There were no signs on the roadways indicating were to get off for you parking location. Then when you did get in, no signs to direct you to the location you needed. People were outside their cars asking anyone that came by if the knew where a certain parking area was. We sat in lines trying to find our area for almost 2 hours. Then we had to stand in line for 1/2 hour to get into the stadium, because of security ( had not problem with that). Because of the parking problems we missed the first part of the game. I guess the most surprising thing of all was that there was not park and ride like there is to the Cowboys games. That would have been my first chose if it had been available. I did check with the Cowboy organization as well as the transit people in Arlington, with not luck finding park and ride.

SRO plaza is not all that...thought it would have been a little better of a view of the big screen.

    Okay Game

by LadyMurphy on 3/8/10Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

The New Dallas Cowboys Stadium is awesome! Great place but the All-Star Game was very boring. I had to wait in the freezing cold for the doors to open for an hour. But only bad thing is traffic, crazy traffic I recommended in renting a limo, it’s easy access for people who arrived and left in limo.

Great Party till wanting to buy a tshirt

by TXFIREDOG on 3/2/10Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

I had a great time at the All Star Game right up to the point I wanted a tshirt. The lady at the self standing booth was rude and very unprofessional. I waited over an hour while this one attendant moved around boxes and didnt help anyone. Then she had an attitude when people were getting upset for not being helped.

I had the party pass, and yes it was very crowded. But being a basketball fan, and being a part of the biggest spectacle in NBA history, I was on top of the world.

    Great Experience

by bballcoachq on 2/28/10Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

It was an unbelieveable experience to apart of over 108,000 fans (the largest crowd to witness a basketball game) in North America. I would do it again in a heart beat. The entire week of events was fantastic especially for children. I took my 11 year old daughter and Jam Session at the Dallas Convention Center was all she could ask for.

From the venue, the players and the record breaking attendance. This was truly an event not to be missed. The staff were courteous and accomodating and even the highly paid NBA stars came to play. No complaints at all. FIrst class all the way!

    Historical

by SkinnyNBAfan on 2/23/10Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

Freezing cold and crowded, but would do it again without question. I only wish getting in and out had been better organized. I had to walk all the way around the outside of the stadium (in the cold) because I was only allowed to enter through a certain door. At one point, I even had to walk back out to the street instead of near the stadium. Upon leaving, I thought "surely I can walk to the other exit from inside." But no... You were only allowed to use assigned exits as well. STUPID. Not very hospitable. All parts of the game and entertainment were awesome though.

Enjoyed the event. Parking was as expected. Not sure the parking was worth the price paid. Wish they had played the All-Star Game at the AAC versus the Cowboys stadium.

The game was great the Waiting was impossible

by maverickfans on 2/22/10Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

We bought our tickets last July or some time around there. I also bought parking. We got there at 3:30 pm, thinking we should be there as early as possible. When we arrived the "parking Lot" was closed. How can a parking lot be closed? Then we got in to the parking and the gates were closed until 5 pm. It was freezing and windy. Then we got in the gates and the doors to the stadium were closed. They didn't open until 5:30. I cannot believe we had to wait out in the cold for a hour and a half. What did the visitors think of this?
