We we treated to an evening of reminiscing and fun. Tickets were emailed to my account. It was nice not to have worry about paper tickets.
The groups performing were great. I know that many of the original members are no longer with us but the singers were very good. It was great hearing the old songs that were part of my youth and young adult years. What would be nice would be to include some female singers/groups from that time. I’m not sure if any are still around.
I soooo enjoyed this concert i wasn't going to go for personal reasons glad i did the theater upgraded my seats the atmosphere was great the acts were great the host was great excellent experience i will return
I enjoyed the groups..I really was disappointed that the Dramatics weren't there..also next tome have a gorl group perform
The show was awesome. Seats were Great. Brought back a lot of old memories.
The Intruders, Heat Wave, Bloodstone, Blue Magic, and the Stylistics were all great. My seats were upgraded. I was very surprised and pleased.
I enjoyed the show .It brought back memories. It was sad to learn members of the groups have passed on. The new members did good and l loved the steps of the groups even though they are older now.
To actually see some of the best R & B vocal groups from the 70s live is an experience that I won't forget . From The Intruders - Blue Magic - Bloodstone - to- The Stylistics -- They all sang their hearts out and made the audience feel all the wonderful emotions of this magical event ...
Performance excellent atmosphere left us with a pleasant feeling. security personnel were gracious. Great thing this time no waiting on line to enter theatre. Everyone placed immediately. Only one complaint the parking lot across the street are a bit greedy taking advantage of us going to the show with astronomical price to park $85.00 and $100.00 for an SUV😳. Leaves a very negative impression before going to the show !! Perhaps a discount could be arranged.. what will be the cost next year 95.00 to 100.00 $200.00 for an SUV 😳😡😡 That’s taking advantage and greed!!!
The show was good, the groups are starting to show their age.
Amazing performances we grew up listening to them all our moms always played their music.. The Beacon is beautiful the only thing that seems to be missing is an elevator for people who have to use a walker or in wheel chairs. But other then that beautiful place the stars that are there put on an amazing performance we always look forward to the 70s Soul Jam concerts
The show was Amazing!! All the groups performing were fabulous it brought back so many wonderful memories i loved every minute of the show i didn't want it to end.
Heat Wave and Blue Magic blew it out. Heat wave had great energy…..Blue Magic’s moves and voices just took me away….had a flash back to my younger days…lol
I knew every song each group dung it was a great and pleasant experience seeing them again i go every year, but the Bloodstone OMG did the dam thang with a long way back i love me some Harry from the group
Great show! Took my mother to see this and she loved it! Most original members of the groups are there. They put on a great show and still got them moves!! Loved it!
The order of the performers was: The Intruders, Heatwave, Blue Magic, Bloodstone and the Stylistics. The Intruders opened with an ok performance but Heatwave really amped it up. They sang their major hits and brought a lot of energy. Followed by Blue Magic who had nice choreography and handsome outfits. Bloodstone's singer Harry Williams was awesome with his great and emotional vocals. As usual, The Stylistics stole the show with their smooth choreography and silky smooth and emotional vocals. This is my 10th year attending the 70's Soul Jam and this year's was the best one so far!
Entering the theater, walking thru the scanner and being escorted to our seats took all of 15 minutes...easy and smooth process. The show started on time and was seamless between each act. Great show...great venue.
Free upgrade to 3rd row from balcony! Awesome venue! Great drinks and courteous staff!
I paid 100$ per ticket, only to see the Stylistics and the Blue notes. They were great but that’s not all I paid for. What happened to at least the other 2 groups? #didn’t get what we paid for.
