The show was great! All the bands were awsome! Stage set up was great, timing was good, didn't miss any of the bands. Really my only complaint is that they ran out of water at the bathroom sinks and toilet paper by the end of the night, other than that for a first time show it all went well!!
Loved all the bands that played..liked how close no matter where you were at to the stage. overall great experience and so hope there will be one next year!
We watched the main stage the most, would loved to have be able to see some of the bands on second stage, too close to together. Sevendust on other stage was really great, from what I heard. A lot of the young bands on main stage were amazing!!! We listen to Sirius Octane at work and really enjoyed seeing these kids live!!!! Please have this festival every year. I think it is a great venue for the Legends, as well as the new bands.
I had a great time at the show, and it was by far the best concert I've been to yet. It had a great compilation of groups, and I enjoyed every bit of all the performances. I really hope that you put this show on again next year, I already have plans to go back next year and take my wife, older brother, and sister-in-law. Thank you to all the groups who performed, you were all amazing and made my weekend the best birthday present that I have had in a long time.
They kept sneaking in bands that were not on the list. Very cool!!! I had an awesome time, a time to remember. Its all about the experience. I even found the singer to Sevendust on the strip and took a pic with him. So excited.... woohoo. Very near to the mash pits, scary and exciting all at the same time. Will do it again next yr if there is one.....
The list of bands was impressive and the music was better. Sitting in the heat of Vegas we where blasted by the metal of numerous bands that played on for two days. Avenge Sevenfold, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch and Three Days Grace rocked the desert, but the best moment was Sully setting the rock world on end with his drum set and Godsmack showed me why the are rock kings.
When I first heard about this I could not wait to buy my tickets. I bought mine 2 months before which was good. I went for my 21st Birthday and I can tell you that this was the best birthday present i have ever bought myself and I would gladly do it again every year.
5fdp was kicked a$$!!!! the whole show was off the hook!!! Hope they decided to keep doing it!!! the beer was outrageous though.. was just general admission no seats just a huge lot wish I would have gotten the vip seating next to the stage
I have been to literally hundreds of shows w/ most of them vip (if not bought, then through people/bands I know.) I have never once felt so ripped off by a promoter that promised things and did not deliver!! THIS IS NOT TO SAY THE BANDS / LINEUP WERE NOT AWESOME!! THEY WERE!! BUT YOU CAN SEE ALL THE BANDS IN DIFFERENT VENUES ACROSS THE COUNTRY.....DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLANNING A TRIP TO VEGAS AROUND THIS SHOW.....if your a local I'm sure you felt it was an awesome show....but about 100 complaints that I have visually seen and read have been removed from their Facebook page...also myself along w/ others have been banned for complaining!! NO WAY TO TREAT PEOPLE THAT SPENT 1000'S OF $$$!
Bought the Godfather VIP package for myself and friend for her bday present, but was very disappointed because it didn't provide everything that was supposed to be included. The first night we couldn't get back up to see Avenged Sevenfold because they changed entry to people with "universal" passes only. On Sunday morning we walked to the Mandalay Bay only to find the Hangover Brunch had been cancelled without notice. The second day we had to choose which side of the stage we wanted to sit on; we selected the right because it had the concierge tent, although it was advertised that both sides of the stage would have concierge tents. We were then made to leave after each act finished and made to wait until right before the next act went on before we could go back up to sit down. We felt like anything but VIPs. Also the side speaker on stage right kept cutting in and out both days. I understand this was the first year, but its also Vegas and you guys should know what you are doing by now. Don't make promises you can't keep, pay people back when you mess up. If you plan on doing this next year, I hope you fix all the glitches.
This concert was unbelievable. We have been to quite a few rock festivals the past couple years- most included many of these same bands- but to have them all in the same venue truly kicked ass! We traveled from Florida for this and the level of entertainment did not disappoint! The shows all rocked, but Vegas needs to learn how to host a festival. Of all cities, you would think they could pull it off...but they tried to keep it too Disney. Lighten up, Vegas!
Had a great time the whole thing was organized well the setlist was amazing. I didn't go for the headliners korn but man did they blow everyone away. They better make this a yearly thing cause I will be there every year. Come on let's make it happen.
Debauchery VIP Tent Could Have Used More Seats And Better Discounts On Thier Beers And Drinks!! Could Have Also Used More Bathrooms,Soap, Water And A Team Of People To Check And Mantain Them Through Out The Two Day Event. The Concert Itself Was Awesome And Kick Ass. The VIP Package I Got Was Good But Im Going To Aim For The Godfather Next Year!! Love The Shirts, Got Some Great Pictures/Video And Now I Have Bragging Right For The Rest Of The Year!! GREAT MEMORIES Thank You And See You Soon Vegas!!
they put on the best show ever. they had an amazing stage setup!!!! fire lights the whole nine!
This was a great show, organized better than any concert I've been to before! Short wait to get through security, no wait at beer tent, and great bands. The port-a-pots were a long walk, which could have been a problem at times and children were allowed in, which was not appropriate for this type of show.
The Godfather package needed more organization & better bathrooms !!!! Not right to pay so much money to be treated like cattle maybe sold too many seats out of greed by organizers would have been nice to have met or gotten autographs pictures with bands?
OH MY GOD!!! this was the best concert i have ever been too i loved everything about it the bands were amazing the all played perfect live this was worth every single penny they had free rockstars good food so many people it was litterly the best weekend of my whole life im not even exagerating i was wiped out on sunday but they still had amazing bands so i said screw it and went and i dont regret it the next day i woke up with a sore neck but it was so worth it
all bands playing were amazing. cant wait until next year
48 Hours Festival was amazing .. I went only for 2 bands .. Godsmack & Korn .. Korn was the main band i went for .. I had never seen them live .. I'm glad i finally got to see them perform .. Their setlist couldn't have been better.. They definitely ROCKED THE SHOW!!!!!!!! .. Great band to close the event.. Best part of this experience was being FRONT ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will definitely go to another Korn show .. \m/(>_<)\m/
My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at the 48 Hours Festival in Vegas. The lineup was awesome. Really hoping this will be an annual event.
