    Carnage and 3lau: absolutely mind-blowing

    by fungi23 on 11/26/13SoundGarden Hall - Philadelphia

I saw Carnage and 3lau in Philly on October 22nd. The concert was amazing, probably one of my favorite shows ever. 3lau in particular impressed me- I don't know or like many of 3lau's songs, but as a dj his choice of music was outstanding. The perfect mix of Electro, House, Trap, even rock at one point, 3lau really knows how to ready a crowd. The light show was particularly amazing during 3lau. Carnage was even better though. The crowd went absolutely nuts, and the fog machine was a great touch. I do have to say, though, I was pretty disappointed with the light show and backdrop during carnage. As a dj, Carnage was incredible, but the lights and backdrop were a far cry from 3lau's, and it was very noticeable. I would change this in the future. Other than that, though, absolutely amazing show.

Awesome show. Venue gets very packed but that's expected. Nice having the 21+ area to relax and enjoy the performance at times

carnage literally made the ground shake

by Alexliszewski on 11/25/13SoundGarden Hall - Philadelphia

I've been to a few edm events. It was a small venue and carnage absolutely killed it. High energy with great mixes including all types of genres. He even took my friends poster and she got to meet him after the show. 3lau was more excited to be there then I was! Loved what he was doing and he came up and shook my friends hand when there was an altercation. 2 cool dudes who played great music.

3LAU & Carnage tore it up

by birdmachine on 11/25/13SoundGarden Hall - Philadelphia

The venue opened a little late, but that was because the DJs apparently arrived a bit late to the event. Going in, I noticed Soundgarden Hall was a bit small, but it was more than sufficient for the night's activities. The 21+ section was located far away from the rest of the venue, and was guarded well by security. Water was not hard to get, and there were cleaning staff for each of the well-kept bathrooms. The music itself was great - 3LAU and Carnage both put on stellar performances that both clarified and maintained their high standards. The only bad thing about the event was the smoke or gas or whatever - they sprayed it for way too long, I felt like I was going blind for about 15 to 20 seconds.

    Awesome night

by Samfosq on 11/25/13SoundGarden Hall - Philadelphia

Loved that 21+ has the option to separate from the rest of the crowd, headliners were amazing jut didnt like the pillar in the middle of the floor. People stand on them and I couldn't see

    Awesome music, smaller crowd

by Jaizkabel on 10/29/13Orpheum Theater - Madison

3lau puts on an amazing show. He mixes up a lot of pop and EDM music so it is a good concert to bring friends that might be unsure of going to and EDM show. He isn't quite as drop heavy as some of the more pure electronic acts but it's a lot of fun. We heard a lot of new music, I know he has a new mash album coming out, and it was cool to hear something different....if you go to Ultra and EDC (and any of the other summer festivals) you know how you hear the same songs rehashed. The only issue was that the crowd was kinda small. There was freakfest with matt and kim and chiddy bang going on at the same time, so Madison only has so many concert goers I guess. I've seen him previously with a much larger crowd and that was fun. Overall I would recommend this show to a wide audience.

Venue was right size for the amount of people there, with seating in the back, railings to chill, and a large enough floor to dance. Crowd was definitely too rowdy, and security was everywhere (even on the dance floor) Bathroom was nice so never had to wait in line. Multiple rooms with bars for people to sit.
