Please bring them back to Hershey again. They were stunning!!! Very talented!!! Simply amazing!!!!
Great musicians, with a lot of energy and skill. Can energize the audience. I am seeing them again in WI. The opening band was not impressive and I did not expect the concert to be delayed by one hour on the week day but other than this the 2cellos are perfect.
These guys were fantastic! I was mesmerized the entire time by their talent and showmanship. Highly recommended!
Unbelievable what they can do! My husband was not looking forward to the night and was completely blown away. They played everything from the Doors, Nirvana, Michael Jackson to AC/DC - it was awesome!
These handsome, charming men amaze and mesmerize their followers, as they alternately beat hard rock or finesse ballads from their electronic cellos. Their videos on Youtube are great, but only in person can you witness the artistry and energy they put into their performances. Spontaneous standing ovations are the norm, which Stjepan Hauser and Luka Sulic respond to with encore after encore, until they run out of tunes to play. Their concerts are definitely worth the cost of admission. It's three days after their concert, and my mind continues to replay their music over and over because it FEELS SO GOOD!
The 2CELLOS were excellent. Brilliant, extraordinary, one of a kind group.
This concert was a lot of fun. The music they do goes from classical (just a little bit of that), to metal. A few couples walked out once they hit the heavier songs; it seemed like they didn't realize what kind of concert they were in for. The rest of the crowd went wild for them. The guys talked a little bit between songs and that was entertaining too; I easily could have listened to them go on for another hour or so with their music and chatting. The actual show was about 90 minutes and afterward they signed autographs and let fans take pictures with them. The actual venue was nice, but honestly I could have been in somebody's basement and this group still would have been entertaining. What amazing talent!!
They seemed to be very talented, but the overall program turned out to be a rock concert rather than anything equal to the quality of their albums. Thought entire program was very loud and noisy. The opening band, if that is what they are called, set the tone of a loud, noisy time. At least the 2cellos have talent. Certainly not what we expected. We expected more classical or classical crossover. Would not recommend this to anyone.
What a great evening. The Hershey Theater is a great venue for a concert such as this. The opening act (Brave New World) was incredible, and then the 2 Cello's had the self deprecating humor, and gratefulness that their music is enjoyed. We had orchestra seats and the vibrations from the music actually moved the seat backs. I did see one older couple get up and leave, but I believe it was because they may not have been truly aware of what this group performs. It's cover music, from U2, Cold Play, Michael Jackson, and I even smelled some Teen Spirit. They gave two encores because we didn't want it to end. I highly recommend.
I attended this concert with my 23 year old son who recently has taken an interest in playing cello. From the albums, we knew to expect an amazing concert with their obvious talent, but my son and I were truly blown away!! The diversity of the concert was incredible! It was a truly enjoyable experience and we would love to attend another concert and bring the rest of the family! Not only was the music astounding, but the banter of the one cellist brought for good stage presence made it even more gripping! Thank you for a truly special evening!
These young men were brilliant and captivating. They performed with a passion and energy that I have not experienced in a very long time. If you have never heard Jimi Hendrix, Coldplay, Sting and other non classical musicians' music played on duet cellos, then you are missing an extraordinary event. In addition, the Hershey Theatre was a gorgeous venue.
2cellos were great. They did a handful of somewhat classical pieces, but then launched into the signature rock song covers (U2, Coldplay, ACDC, Nirvana among others). Their last song, a cover of "Hurt", was amazing. They seemed to have fun, and so did the crowd. It was definitely something new and fun to see.
I have never seen a show like this in my life. It was fantastic. Who knew you could play Purple Haze and Highway to Hell on cello! These two guys are extremely talented and well worth the ticket price.
The sounds of an orchestra and choir coming from two cellos is amazing. The rock and roll made you get up and dance. FUN!!!
I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed the concert in Hershey PA this weekend! The opening act, A Great Big World were a wonderful surprise. We didn't even realize that there would be an opener. We've purchased their EP!! 2 Cellos were phenomenal! 4 encores later and we still wanted more. Lots of energy! Virtuosity in performance. Great sense of humor. WOW!
These two guys are so talented. The mastery they have over their instruments makes watching their performance easy on the ears and eyes. There is no thought of is it good...it just is. Beautiful to watch for so many reasons!
My sister and I took my son and her daughter both in the 6th grade and new cello players. We all loved the concert. There was nothing classical about this show! We we out of our seat and dancing! The night was awesome!!! Can't wait to see them again!
The concert was fabulous. I loved every minute of it. The concert started with more classical music selections and built into a few great memorable moments when they played..U2, Jim Hendrix, AC DC and Michael Jackson. They finished the concert with 3 encores. The opening group Great Big World was surprising very good. Not sure what to expect at first but they delivered a winning performance. All of the perfromer from Great Big World and 2 Cello's were available for autographs and photo's after their performances.
The concert was spectacular as all their concerts are. The energy levels are extraordinary - I left the Grand Ballroom floating on air If you've never seen 2CELLOS, go see them now!!! There are 13 more shows in the US on the current tour. Drive if you have to, fly if you have to, but go see them now.
