Going into the concert, i was excited,but after the concert i cannot wait for next year! Everyone was better than i was expecting and i absolutely fell in love with Hot chelle rae! Gym class heroes and cobra starship rocked the stage, and i just had the best time!
Big Time Rush was amazing! They were my best friend's favorite act. I loved Jason Derulo and Kelly Clarkson too. They were all very good and I like how they performed songs that everyone in the crowd knew. It was an amazing experience. Definitely want to go to this event again next year.
It was fun seeing a lot of bands at the same time, but there was a lot of waiting between each band for state setup.
If you are looking for a concert to go to, to see many artists, this is the concert for you!!!!
Overall, I really loved the concert. The performances were great, and the energy in the room was really exciting. My only problem was that the music wasn't always loud enough, for those of us who are up in the balcony.
Great line up, Jason's mic either wasn't working well, or hes not as good live. I'm not a huge Kelly Clarkson fan, but she did really well, except I felt she was much louder than everyone else. Biggest complaint of the night was leaving as the skyway we came in by LifeTime was closed off, wish there would have been a sign telling us so. Otherwise great concert, hope they can get bigger names back again, Pitbull, LMFAO etc. Not as good as last year!
The whole concert was AWESOME! BTR, and Kelly Clarkson were the best in my opinion.
GREAT MUSIC AND WELL WORTH THE MONEY -- HOWEVER WITH IT BEING A SCHOOL NIGHT - AND MOST ATTENDING ARE IN SCHOOL - FROM A PARENTS STAND POINT HAVE IT ON A FRI OR SAT NIGHT - MANY YOUNGER ONES LEFT EARLIER DUE TO SCHOOL
This is a great show if you want a live performance of the current biggests hits on the radio. Overall, the show was fun and it was great to get to hear a few songs from a variety of acts. If you've never heard some of the bands its a good taste of what they play and may even turn you on to their music. If you are a big fan of any of the acts though, its not the best. You'll be wishing they played more songs and it will kind of be a let down, compared to if you went to a show that was just them. I would really suggest this to people who love KDWB, its DJs and hearing some pop hits live. I would not suggest this show if you hate kids. This was an all ages show and there were A LOT of middle school girls there, that got kind of annoying with them running around before and during the show.
These two were ah-mazinnn! All of the acts were ah-mazinnn(: Wish i could go back & re-watch it!
the concert was incredible! foster the people came out first. i thought they were okay. next was hot chelle rae, who were absolutely amazing. they were so much fun & interacted with the crowd. then, it was BIG TIME RUSH. oh my gosh. they were perfect. absolutely perfect. next was cobra starship. they were incredible, as well. gym class heroes were after. they brought SO much energy to the stage. second to the last was jason derulo. he left me speechless. the dancing. the vocals. everything was perfect. kelly ended the show. i was completely amazed. she sang all the classics, and had the fans jumping and singing. such an amazing show. thank you to all the acts! I brought my daughter and her friends and they enjoyed the show a lot. The songs were good but the sound quality was poor. Overall the kids had fun.
Looking beyond the couple of times a couple of the singers were caught lip sinking, the overall concert was just OK. The last band made it worthwhile. One singer had no band and was sing to pre-recorded music, when he was actually singing. His backup dancers had terrible choreography and were hacks! Four of the Seven bands were descent. The second and last bands played like they where playing from their heart and sole. The Hosts were dorks especially Dave!
I am looking forward to watching Foster the People, Kelly Clarkson, Hot Chelle Rae, and Gym Class Heroes. To sum these performances: - Foster the People's setlist was too short (3 songs) but I loved the extended version of Pumped Up Kicks. - Hot Chelle Rae was to pop-py for my taste but the crowd love their catchy choruses - Big Time Rush was famous for the teen-agers. I was almost deaf after their set. They had these fluorescent lights on their clothes that I thought would create a pattern but it didn't really. - Cobra Starship has good songs but the lead vocals keep on throwing the mic stand and it bothers me a little. - Gym Class Heroes great songs, but the voices of Bruno Mars for Billionaire and Adam Levine for Stereo Harts are taped over - Jason Derulo had a shiny jacket but with killer dance moves. - Kelly Clarkson was amazing! She sang a Christmas song which seemed appropriate for the event. The crowd loved her - singing and dancing along even if she's the last performer. PROS: Great acts from varied genres, Sound quality is good to loud (from where we were seated), crowd energy is awesome, lighting on stage is good. CONS: unstable chairs and platforms (section 110, Row 4, seat 15-16), no cup holders, the breaks in between acts takes too long.
I originally bought only 2 tickets for my kids. When Sunday rolled around, we decided that I should go too. And boy, am I glad that I did. The concert was wonderful. The whole event was very organized and very AWESOME!!!! Looking forward to next year's Jingle Ball...
I feel the music videos that were playing in between acts were inappropriate for the younger children in attendance. We had three 10 yr olds, five 12 year olds and three 14 year olds in our group. As a parent, it's one thing to process some of the lyrics they hear on the radio but it's a whole other issue to subject them to viewing some of the inappropriateness in music videos. I loved the music and the energy of the concert but really wish KDWB would have used better judgement about the videos that were played.

Was a great line up, sound was horrible, was not able to hear allot of the audio, was not very loud. KDWB host did a great job with the line up and with the "christmas story"
I enjoyed jingleball 2011 for many reasons. The line up was discouraging at first, but after listening to KDWB for the month before the show, I realized that these were the hot artists. Once I got off of my high horse, I got excited about seeing up and coming acts. During the show there were only problems during Big Time Rush and Kelly Clarkson in way of acoustics. Jason Derulo looked like he performed with a sound track, but his dance moves made up for the fact he may have been lip syncing. Big Time Rush kept the energy up even when their ear pieces didn't work, and aside from the fact the band wasn't happy about it, it was still an amazing performance. Overall it was a great concert.
Foster the people and Kelly Clarkson rocked it!! I really enjoyed all the other acts as well. It was so much fun and I will for sure go back next year!
