YACHT ROCK SCHOONER throws the smoothest party on the high seas, taking you and your guests on a journey to a time when good-times music had heart and musical integrity.

The 8-man Schooner specializes in the smooth sounds of the late ’70s and early ’80s. It’s a party that spans generations, and the band is comprised of some of Atlanta’s top players with a dual keyboard setup, multiple ace vocalists and (of course) a sax man.

If you’re a big fan of Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Toto, Kenny Loggins, Doobie Brothers, The Bee Gees, Christopher Cross, Carly Simon and Michael McDonald, this is the band for you!

    WoW!!! In all these years (and being an Atlanta native) had never heard of Yacht Rock Schooner. We went to Georgia Jam, which sadly, many did not. YRS was sensational!!! I’m a 59 baby, so all my favorite songs (barring Bowie, Yes, Led Zeppelin and the like in the more rock genre) we’re played, played well, sung well and sung along with. I’d have to say that YRS was truly the best band of the day. Songs we all know and love were played. (Not a lot of new music many artists decided to do - we came for what we came for and were disappointed by several other bands). YRS was clearly a surprise we didn’t see coming! I hope to see them playing elsewhere and around town. Too good to hide!
