    Macy's Parade

by Macy's Night on 3/17/24Warner Theatre - Washington

Pleasure to hear from the great actor and his insights into "Fargo"and "Shameless"and much more. The issue was the confusion on how the event would go. Staff at Warner didn't have a lot of information. What ended up happening was a 90 minute screening and 45 minute talkback. The result was our dinner reservations were cancelled because we didn't get out in time. We were told otherwise by Warner staff. Also, supposedly there were "audience questions"but despite booking WAY in advance, were not given ANY information about how to submit a question. Was hoping for a microphone and Q&A interaction, none of that. It was a moderator reading off cards. Some of the questions he asked twice (not kidding). It just should have been a lot better organized. Letting us know when it would end, giving a very clear pathway on submitting questions. None of that was passed on, and despite very good seats, we felt in the dark. On a positive note, the Warner is a great place to see almost anything and is a beautiful theater. The movie played even in the bathroom area so we wouldn't miss anything. Macy himself was great and had a lot to say and is even a local - from Cumberland, so that was an added benefit. So more positive than negative but a lot could have been improved.
