My six year old really enjoyed it! It was similar to the book. Really grabbed his attention!

by Pmach on 4/3/18Walnut Street Theatre - PhiladelphiaMy little girls (and their Grandparents who actually received their Flat Stanleys which were their school assignments) were so excited that there was actually a Flat Stanley show! But, were immediately confused & a little bit disappointed that the character playing Flat Stanley was obviously a girl??? I'm not sure how or why you would do a play with the main character not consistent with the story?? Although overall it was enjoyable, the music was a little bit repetitive & not very well written. If Stanley was a boy like he is supposed to be & the lyrics in the songs didn't say the same thing over & over again, I would have given a much more favorable review. Great idea for a show but they could've done a better job.
