Walnut Street Theatre's Beehive - The '60s Musical Tickets

Show is a musical review - not a musical play (neither comedic nor dramatic) - so not what I expected. Was hoping for more of a story, something akin to Memphis. Singing was fine & though I appreciated the focus on women singers of the 60s, some males adding backup would have been good. Theater entry was efficient; show started only a little late. View from front of balcony was perfect - but seating not so good for spouse's long legs, so we moved to empty roomier seats in last row center orchestra at intermission. Felt relatively safe though I did see some folks with masks with gaps at their cheeks & even at the nose. May wait a few more months before attending another indoor show.

We loved this musical. The cast did an amazing job performing the songs and relaying the vibes of the 60's. The only downside was the overly strict policies of the venue with the masks and vaccines.
