What an amazing show.....Derek and Julianne are SO talented and versatile. The dancing was non-stop energy and very entertaining. PLUS they sang beautifully. Very enjoyable show, I would recommend to anyone of every age group. So much fun! "Motion is Emotion" is what they said a few times and it was so evident they truly live their motto.
We have been fortunate to see Derek and Julianne's other shows and they were amazing! We were looking forward to this show knowing they wouldn't disappoint. We had great seats. Unfortunatley due to an error on our part we bought tickets to the Arizona show but thought we had our tickets for Los Angeles. Needless to say we sadly missed this performance. With that said I can honestly say their shows are the BEST!
Missed their tour first time around and never forgave myself. Even my husband loved it. The energy was electric. Enjoyed when the ladies brought men on stage to dance. It was so entertaining.
We love Dancing with the Stars and we love watching Derek and Julianne - they are our favorites. We were not thrilled with much of the show -- lots of movement, but not much else. We really enjoyed the "old time" pieces where they actually danced ballroom style, and we enjoyed some of their singing - that was an unexpected bonus. But to drive 2 hours each way and fight the crowds both coming and going, we were expecting a lot more of the ballroom stuff we enjoy.
I absolutely loved this show! I loved the interaction that Derek and Julianne facilitated between audience members. It was a great atmosphere of fun! I will surely see it again!!!
Julianne and Derek are so talented along with all of their dancers on stage with them. The set and all other special effects were on point with the dancing. I would definitely go again!
The show blew my mind!! I never expected to hear them both sing....and boy are they extraordinary! The dancing was excellent as well. A must see!! Getting to meet them and take pics was worth the extra money!!
So so....was expecting more freestyle expression .....good energy
Last year my wife and I attended DWTS at Comerica Theatre and loved it. When I saw the promo for Move - Beyond starring Derek and Julianne I immediately bought tickets figuring it can't get any better than those two. What a disappointment!! The 7:30 performance started 15 minutes late and latecomers continued to come in and interrupt the show until at least 8:15. A latecomer occupied the seat immediately in front of me and she had hair the size of a Buick so I could see nothing and the theatre did not have the screens working so we could at least watch them. In addition the several numbers we sat through consisted of nothing but head busting music and the cast jumping around - not dance as I know it or as we are accustomed to watching on DWTS. My wife finally turned to me and said "are you enjoying this?". I replied "no". We left at 8:15 (30 minutes after the late start and as people were still being seated).
This brother sister show is spectacular, entertaining and especially pleasing to see the choreography and creative talents that create this great event. love dancing!
I have been in many dance performances and seen many performances, but Julianne and Derek are unique in that they connect with their audience with stories and getting us involved! The integration with props and technology was so interesting! I loved it! They are such kind people too, which comes across in their show.
Every moment was spectacular. Derek and Julian new are amazing. Their best show yet.
I attended their performance in 2014 and thought it was the best live performance I had ever seen. I have seen live performances all over the world but this was outstanding. The constant motion and quality of performance and seamless transition from one number to the next made the evening move beautifully. It is wonderful when they interact with the audience. Derek stopping to hug the little girl when she put her arms up to him was especially moving. The dancers in the troupe were the very best, as well. You would expect nothing but the best from the Houghs, This show bested the other and I never thought that could happen and the lighting and special effects were just unbelievable!
Can't say enough about how amazing this show is!! I'm almost sad that I can only give it five stars, it's more like a 10!! Just. WOW. WOW. WOW!! Could see it over and over and never get bored! Their energy and talent are off the charts!! Had the pleasure of seeing it in their hometown of Salt Lake City, so lots of family members in the audience!! Derek chose his mom to go onstage during the "It Had to Be You" number. SO sweet!! Love the Hough siblings!! :)

The entire show was captivating and entertaining. You could feel their personal influences throughout. The costumes, choreography and abilities of the entire cast were amazing. The personal stories and interactions with the audience was heartfelt. I would watch them again and again.
This is the first time I've seen Derek & Julianne live, and they are amazing! They put everything into their performances, and you can tell that they love what they do! They are truly inspiring!
This show was beyond amazing! I would recommend anybody who loves dance to go. They put on one heck of a show and the energy is incredible
