I purchased 4 tickets, and we sat 3 rows back, center Mezz. The theatre is small, but almost any seat Mezz or Orch is a good seat. The performance was in a Cirque style .. tumbling, acrobatics, dance, etc, with interesting twists and breaks designed to give the performers a rest. The rest periods are a little slow substance wise, but they are very stylish and artistic. I have a 9 and 12 year old who were riveted for the entire performance. They enjoyed the camera at the front door, too! After the show, the kids got autographs and pics with the performers. It highly recommend the show, and you can't beat the price. 4 STARS!
The show is excellent. One of the best I've seen in the past few years
This show was simply amazing. The storyline and acrobatics blew my mind - I hadn't expected the show to actually be funny. The performers were very charming. Overall, this show exceeded expectations.
Truly amazing show. If you're debating whether you should go or not... STOP! Just GO! Great for kids too! My boys loved it!!!
You only have about a week to see this great young Canadian group of entertainers dazzle you with some very amazing acrobatics. It was a very entertaining 90 minutes. It's a performance you don't want to miss.
Traces seemed like a junior college drama department version of Cirque de Soliel. I would recommend it but felt that ticket prices were kind of high considering the quality of the production
Amazing and they're all georgous! The show I saw was missing one of their performers--that was a drag. But the six that performed definitely worth the ticket price.
Amazing show that will keep you on your toes and leave you in awe. Great show for a fun night out in LA.
1.5 hours in a heartbeat. Dynamic performers. For my money, as good as any Vegas show in much more casual environment.
It was awesome in every way I held my breath for 90 mins. Do yourself a favor and go!
These multitalented young people put on a breathtaking, mind-bogglingly wonderful show.
I went to Traces reluctantly. (Their ad campaign leaves a lot to be desired.) But this low-rent cirque-ish show is an incredibly impressive compendium of acrobatics. The inevitable filler segments, which let the attractive cast catch its collective breath, are often fun as well.
Stunts were amazing and the music was awesome. Def a must see!
I didn't know what to expect when I went to see Traces. What I got was 90-edge-of-your-seat-minutes that went by so fast, I had to check my watch to make sure we weren't getting shorted. I found myself saying "Wow!" about a dozen times over the course of the show. The acrobatics are truly amazing and the cast is so talented. I would definitely recommend this show to everyone.
Not what I was expecting. Too much drama, not enough performance. Annoying loud music and strobe lights. The theater was a dump.
Loved it more than Cirque. I recommended it to all of my friends.
They did such an amazing job... it was creative, hip, new and fabulous.
I was sort of expecting a 'french circus' meets "Dark Angel" kind of evening, and in a way that somewhat describes what we saw, but not all of what we experienced. There were funny moments, poignant moments, quiet moments, loud moments, moments of heart-pounding expectancy, moments of thought-provoking intimacy... And I STILL don't know if I could explain the show to someone who hasn't seen it. All I can say is: Go. Go NOW! Fabulously talented cast (who are also, coincidentally, stunningly beautiful to look at ;-) It's like watching sculpture come to life. If the individual drops of a waterfall suddenly split apart and began to playfully dance before tripping their way down the cliff to tumble over the stones at the rivers edge---That's TRACES.
i love the personalities of the group. it was like cirque de soleil but more intimate. they did amazing stunts in a funny, creative way. My 9 year old thought it was slow. My 12 year old loved it. They are both boys.
