Not my favorite Disney on ice but good!

by Anonymous on 3/11/15CONSOL Energy Center - Pittsburgh

We go see Disney on ice every year. We absolutely loved that Frozen was a part of the act. I was disappointed that Mulan was not part of the act and that Tiana's ethnicity & wardrobe were not authentic. In addition, beauty and the beast only included Belle but no beast until the finale. Overall we enjoyed the show but it was not our favorite Disney on ice.

    Good show!

by Angelskyy on 3/11/15CONSOL Energy Center - Pittsburgh

My daughter and I enjoyed the show a lot. We did feel that the shows were a bit rushed for Elsa and Anna' s big finale. And the skater portraying Princess Tiana was of the wrong ethnicity. Her show was the shortest. Other than those two "incidents" my daughter had a good time watching the princesses on ice.

First experience with Disney on Ice

My family really enjoyed the show. The artist were very talented and were realistic for both the Princesses and Princes.

    disney review

by aaliyahbear12 on 3/11/15CONSOL Energy Center - Pittsburgh

This event was awesome. There were 12 from my family that went. I didn't mind the ticket cost ($50.00) a ticket. The only thing that I wished would have been different is if the lighting would have been raised so that people sitting in the upper sections could have seen the top part of the castle and also Elsa and other characters when they were on the castle. Thank you . Joyce Bush

Disney On Ice presents Princesses & Heroes

by geo1234 on 3/11/15CONSOL Energy Center - Pittsburgh

The show was great. The Grand-kids loved it. It's just a shame that the facility has to charge such outlandish prices, fees, surcharges, food and refreshments. I would take my grandchildren to many more shows if they were reasonably priced.

I would highly recommend this for all little girls... my 14yr old niece even enjoyed it! But there were only two actual "hero" parts (Aladdin and Prince Eric)... although the other male characters of the movies were present. I would have been upset with this if I was taking little boys!

Really entertaining. My daughter was dancing the entire time. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to next year.

Mostly princesses, but it was a good show. The only criticism is that the SHORTEST amount of time was spent on Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog. We're talking about 30 seconds where the others had stories and songs for 10-15 minutes.

    The kids loved it!

by Nik115 on 3/11/15CONSOL Energy Center - Pittsburgh

Disney on Ice was a nice show. Our little girl had a great time. She loved the whole show, but really we were mainly there for the Frozen part lol. I hope next time frozen on Ice will come to Pittsburgh, wish this show was all Frozen. Souvenirs cost more (much more) at Disney on Ice than they do at actual Walt Disney World. I didn't even pay $5 for a bottle of pop at WDW. $38 for a star glow wand, $20 for snocones, you had to add on the olaf spon. We love our daughter, and of course we wanted to get her the things she wanted, but they should ease the $$ on some of the stuff they are trying to sell. I kinda felt gouged on that one, like I said, I expect to pay for the souvenirs, but it's bad when they are more expensive than in WDW. Other than that it was a nice show, well performed.

    Disney never disapoints!

by Ilovealexdeleon on 3/11/15CONSOL Energy Center - Pittsburgh

The Princesses and Heroes show is simply amazing. The skaters are flawless, and the interaction with the crowd and the special effects and simply everything was perfect. I want to see it over and over again. I'm 22 by the way.

    perfect for a princess

by kbrand on 3/11/15CONSOL Energy Center - Pittsburgh

My husband and I took our 5 year old to this Disney on ice show. She loved it!! She was constantly singing and having a blast! Souvenirs were a little pricey but that was expected. Overall it was awesome family time!

My daughter and I really enjoyed the show. We sang along, knew the princesses soon as the scene began, and the flow of the show leading up to the frozen characters. I however felt that it was a slap in the face that princess Tiana was not played by a black woman And that her segment was the shortest of them all. Then to explain to my daughter why she looked different in the movie. We finally get a black princess and we're cheated at a big event like this.

the show was underwhelming. there were sparks of brilliance here and there, especially with the show on frozen and with the sleeping beauty. otherwise, I would say it was somewhat of a disappointment.

My 6 yr old grandson & 8 yr old granddaughter loved it. High energy, great multi-use sets, good special effects & lighting. The kids really liked the fireworks at the finale.

Frozen was best part of show

by Mepet on 3/11/15CONSOL Energy Center - Pittsburgh

With the money spent on tickets, we were quite disappointed with the stage placement. Our tickets were not considered limited view but in essence were. Anything happening front and center on stage we could not see. The performances were great but seemed to me, a lot of the show was centered on those seated straight ahead and rink side seats. If you were looking dead on to the stage, I would assume those people reviewing would give 5 stars. Still not going to knock those performers. These people are so talented.

The seats I had were great! Really close to the ice and all of the Disney characters were able to wave to us! This particular show wasn't as crowded, making the seating much more comfortable for my almost 2 year old daughter and I! We plan on going back for the Shrine Circus in April! Looking forward to it!
