Paul Mooney and Marsha Whitfield
Howard Theatre - Washington
The show was excellent. The warm up acts were very good. Paul Mooney is a funny man. Marsha Whitfield was very good with a cutting form of humor. It is a show that is worthwhile seeing.

Love Paul Mooney
Howard Theatre - Washington
The Paul Mooney show was a disappointment. My friends and I were looking forward to seeing him and hearing his jokes but Mr. Mooney couldn't remember what he was supposed to say or do. He was escorted onstage by a woman (an aide?) and he kept talking to her offstage. He walked very slowly and had to be seated in a chair on stage. He was on stage 20 minutes TOPS, if that! Marsha Warfield came on and finished up the set but she wasn't as funny as I hoped she would be. Overall it was a very disappointing evening.

Terrible show. Mooney had someone feeding him his lines and he kept repeating the same jokes over.

Not good
Howard Theatre - Washington
I was very disappointed on multiple fronts. 1) The venue was ice cold. The ticket taker said the cooling unit was not working properly and a repair person had been called. He arrived as I was leaving the ticket stand. I don't know what he did, but the venue never warmed up, at least not where I was seated. 2) Only one comic met the minimum standard of funny. And 3) The saddest thing of all was the obvious poor health of Paul Mooney. Clearly, cognitively he was not well. For the venue to allow him to go on stage was reprehensible. I wrote the Howard Theatre an email stating I deserve my money back.Everyone did. Still waiting on reply.

Paul Mooney was hilarious and I really enjoyed him. Marsha Warfield was in rare form and it was great to see a Legend.

The Howard Theater has gone waaaayyyyy down! Theater was cold, service was terrible, food is catered now. DJ took break during set and comedian could not get his pre-selected music played, Paul Mooney was clearly disconnected. He was not himself...signs if ageing...maybe dementia....very sad. Where are his loved ones???!!!

Paul Mooney and Marsha Warfield
Washington DC
Well folks, we all get old and will face health problems and will no longer be as sharp as we once were. Paul Mooney, while still funny, is not the same person he was 5 years ago. He had a hard time remembering his jokes and his time was too short. It seems if you talk to Mr Mooney he is still funny as hell talking on todays issues. But his days as a stand up comic are unfortunately coming to an end. I really enjoyed seeing him and Mr Marsha Warfield and the opening comics. I personally think a good way to use Mr Mooney is in a Q & A type of setting. He is still hilarious when it comes to that.

Paul Mooney @ B.B. King's: The Thrill is Gone
B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New York
We were looking forward to seeing Paul Mooney, the comedic genius who worked with Richard Pryor and Dave Chapelle. What we got was a tired old man who sat in a chair and barely went through the motions, mumbled, started jokes and never finished them, muttered through 20 deadly minutes until a young woman sitting in the wings came over and led him off the stage like it was time for his nap. Mooney was followed by Marsha Warfield who brought the much-needed energy and laughs Mooney wasn't able to, but HE was supposed to be the headliner and came out before Warfield. The show was opened with three comedians, none of who were funny, but at least they seemed to be trying. Paul Mooney either wouldn't or couldn't. Don't know which and don't really care. We wasted our time and our money and will never waste either on Paul Mooney again.

Paul Mooney not what he use to be
B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New York
BB KINGS is always a great place to see a show or just have dinner at Lucille’s. Paul Mooney had trouble remembering some lines to crack on but at his age and history I thought it was a good chuckle. Wished he spent more time on stage.

Show was great but venue was terrible.
B.B. King Blues Club & Grill - New York
The seating was horrible because of the positioning and there were reserved signs on the great seats so the first come first served rule doesn’t apply. My neck was hurting when I left. Very uncomfortable.
