Fox Valley Symphony Tickets

I have been visiting Appleton for about ten years now to see friends. When we can, we see the FSO concerts. They have been enjoyable but unremarkable, very determined and good efforts, but not too far above “good”. But because of the COVID pandemic, travel problems, and other issues, we have not seen the FSO for two years, even though we knew they hired a new director. So what a surprise and delight when we saw and heard Mahler’s First - The Titan! It was brilliant! The conductor slowed the pace just a little, which I liked, and the musicians responded with such excellence. I love the Titan and its many themes, having heard my hometown Pittsburgh Symphony play so often before, and the FSO did the job masterly! Thank you for a delightful performance.

The concert was great! Uplifting, fun. The many variations of percussion used made the pieces unique and spirited. Very much enjoyed!

This was my first time attending an event at The Fox Valley Performing Arts Center and it was a lovely experience. From the pre-concert talk, the the beautiful symphony and the incredibly helpful staff everything was wonderful. I will be returning.

Such a fantastic performance, they FVSO is amazing

The concert was excellent in all respects--the venue, the program, and the performance. The orchestra played with verve and precision under a dynamic director, and the Elgar cello solo was outstanding. Well done VFSO!
