A NICE SHOW
Auditorium Theatre - Chicago
Over all I liked the show. The musicians were out standing. From the dance part of the show I was missing the traditional CSARDAS. I was also expecting to see traditional dances and music from different regions of the country instead the choreographed versions. Therefore I give only four stars.

Music was entrancing! Dancing was nice too, but the real star was the music.

Hungarian Folk Ensemble was fun!
Mayo Performing Arts Center - Morristown
The ensemble performed dances from practically every main region of Hungary and Transylvania, with frequent costume changes. The dances were interspersed with music numbers so the dancers could switch costumes. The band was absolutely amazing, with some virtuoso performances. The choreography was also quite innovative; it aimed to recreate the informal setting in which these dances were originally danced - parties, weddings, etc. All in all, it was a very professional performance and I highly recommend it.

State Theatre - New Brunswick
No backdrop, costumes were dull and dances repetitive. Gypsy group was great. Singer was only good. My group, which had 8 Hungarians living here for 5 years, was disappointed.
