It was a lot of fun just like the previous two were. I liked that once again the conductor encouraged everyone to cheer and boo, etc. The whole symphony played beautifully. I can't wait to see the next Harry Potter film in concert and perhaps some other movies.

I really enjoyed the proximity of the seating to the musicians. It was masterfully performed. It is a must see for fans and even if your not a fan, you will be. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The Majestic is a wonderful place to enjoy performances.

I hope there continues to be these performances during the Holiday break so that kids are home from school. Hopefully there can be the same type performance for the Marvel and DC Movies in the future.

Better than I imagined

I am not really a Harry Potter fan. But I bought tickets as a Christmas gift to my girlfriend. Little did I know that I was going to enjoy the movie as much as I did. The San Antonio Symphony made the movie more alive for me and I felt the action in my soul. If only I could watch ALL Harry Potter movies this way. Great, great show. I would recommend it over and over again. Thank you!

Watching the movie with live concert is incredible! The symphony played the entire movie sound track in one sitting! Can you imagine that? When the movie was made, the orchestra spent days to record the sound track. And the symphony played every single note of this massive sound track in two hours! Everything was synced perfectly and sometimes you forgot the music was played by the symphony. And then you were thrilled to realize that, wow, the awesome music I just heard was played right there on stage, live! It is totally amazing!

For anyone who has not experienced the thrill of watching a movie with the live orchestra playing the sound tract, do not miss the next one! Your children and grandchildren will never see a movie again without a true appreciation of the musical score. This is a great way to engage young people in music.
