About

Chicago, at first dubbed The Chicago Transit Authority, immediately stood out due to their unique, horn-driven instrumentation and top-notch songwriting, a combination that quickly found a home on  free-form FM radio in the late '60s. After 45-plus years in business, Chicago's music has never left the airwaves and the band remains on tour more often than not, playing concerts in every corner of North America. With a catalog of hits  including "Saturday in the Park," "Beginnings," "If You Leave Me Now," "Baby What a Big Surprise," "You're the Inspiration," and "Hard Habit To Break," fans are always eager to snap up tickets to catch one of the most successful American rock bands in history. Four members of the group's current lineup -- vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Robert Lamm and horn section members Lee Loughnane, James Pankow and Walter Parazaider -- date back to Chicago's formation in 1967. Even today, the band isn't just about nostalgia; Chicago continues to record new singles and albums regularly.

    Wonderful

by Shane from Kentucky on 6/1/24The Louisville Palace - Louisville

Chicago was wonderful. Overall the vocals were still great after all these years. However, there were a few songs where the instruments and too much bass drowned out the vocals. The instrumental parts were pure classic Chicago. Overall a great, enjoyable experience.

    Awesome!!!

by Joyce on 6/1/24Adler Theatre - Davenport

What a great show!!! You don't have the instruments anymore as Chicago does. The sound, the vocals and everything could not have been any better. The drummers were awesome also. It was our first time at The Adler Theater. What a beautiful place. Was truly one of the best concerts we have been too!!!!

    As Good As Ever

by Cy on 6/1/24Adler Theatre - Davenport

Chicago has been my favorite band since the early 70's and I have attended as many of their concerts as possible since then. Even though the band members have changed throughout the years they never disappoint! This concert was no exception. I am amazed and glad that Lee, James and Robert (the founding members) can still tour with the band, it makes the concert that much more special. Thanks to Chicago for a lifetime of great music and memories!

No one should miss Chicago on tour!

by Rich on 5/31/24Adler Theatre - Davenport

I saw Chicago 1 year ago in Coralville, IA. They were so Exceptional I couldn't afford to not see them last Tues at the Adler Theater in Davenport. Growing up with their music from 1967, it's extraordinary how energized, alive and colorful they still are after 57 years!! Their horns have always been the driving engine with this ensemble along with all the other instruments. They've got more power and heart than most any other group around. Don't miss them!!
