This show was great fun for us! The slapstick nature of this show kept us laughing the whole time. Loved how there was a story within a story - kept it interesting and fun and the best part was the peppering of audience engagement. We highly recommend checking it out.
Attended with my daughter and 13 year old granddaughter. We laughed from beginning to end. My granddaughter said she wants it to be the first play she directs and produces when she starts her career. It was great. We laughed the entire time.
The show was very entertaining and laugh out loud funny. The tickets were money well spent in my opinion. If see it again.
In my option; Show pitifully failed. Presumably it was intended to be a slapstick comedy. Too overdone. This was the opinion of my companion also. Was a waste of time and money.
Did not attend because of CDC warning about crowds because of my health and age
It was a night of laughing and fun. I would recommend this to my friends
This was laugh out loud funny the whole time!! The most fun I’ve ever had going to a play!
We had an awesome time at the play! There were mixed reviews but the play was funny! And our seats were int eh balcony and lived the view. We highly recommend The play that goes wrong. What a great time!
The first act was simply unbearable. My partner and I discussed leaving at intermission, but decided to stay. The second act was better, but not by much. The play had far too much “slapstick “ comedy. Slapstick is funny, but in small doses. This play was machine gun slapstick. Virtually every scene, every spoken word was something that portrayed ridiculously overstated things going wrong. Over and over and over. The set was nice and the backstage crew did a great job. There were some funny parts.
