ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL TOUR:
From its humble origins in a Los Angeles theater to its current reign as the world's largest electronic music festival, Electric Daisy Carnival has been virtually synonymous with the rise of EDM. Now producing multi-day summer festivals around the world, EDC's ever-growing popularity charges ahead unabated, with recent additions in Las Vegas, London, and Mexico City. Featuring pristine festival grounds, state-of-the-art audiovisuals, and the biggest names in electronic dance music (Tiesto, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, to name a few), EDC never fails to leave its all-night revelers in euphoric bliss.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Electronic Daisy Carnival had its inaugural festival at LA's Shrine Expo Hall in 1997. Its popularity grew throughout the '00s as it expanded to additional cities, quickly becoming the biggest electronic music festival in the country and earning the nickname the "American Ibiza." Over the years, EDC has hosted a veritable who's who of internationally renowned DJs, including Paul van Dyk, Armand Van Helden, and Paul Oakenfold, and it continues to draw top talent as it expands into Europe and Latin America. In 2013, EDC's Las Vegas weekend drew more than 320,000 people, setting a record as the largest electronic music festival in the world.
This was my first year at EDC and was very happy that i attended this amazing event.
EDC never disappoints. Great location. Great water stations. Awesome music.
As a local in las vegas my fiance and i attend EDC every year since 2011 2012, every part of EDC is amazing, from the light, sounds, djs to the people and food. the ONLY downsides, are how much drugs people are doing AND that all of my favorite DJ's play at the same time alot, so i have to pick haha.
Best 3 days out of my short 19 years of living. These 3 days changed my life and I found the love at my life here as well. Highly recommend it. Aside from the music and production, the crowd takes it to another level
I have to admit, I had my moments of doubt and thought that maybe EDC wasn't gonna be all that great but I was wrong. It was everything I expected and more. Everything about it is amazing. The music, the loudness, the kicking bass, the lights, the crowd, the performers and the staff. It really is all about the experience and wow what an unforgettable and mind-blowing experience. If anybody is thinking about going stop thinking and just go, you wont regret it.
Despite the rain out for an hour EDC was unforgettable. It was definitely worth the experience and much better than last year when it was held at CitiField in 2013. Will definitely go back! Martin Garrix and Afrojack were amazing!
loooved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing experience for a group of friends that share the love for house music.
Best festival I've been to on the east coast. No huge lines to get in and well organized parking. Stages were great and rides were fun.
Amazing event. Security was good, not a long line. Great space!
