The cast is so talented, musically, acting. We loved the whole show.
Overall one of the worst shows I have seen. Music was ok. Acting was ok. It was just so slow and boring. Sets were basic and uninspiring. We left at the intermission.
The production was excellent and more than I expected for a local theatre experience. No need to travel to Boston. Cast members were incredible. Music and instruments gold star! If you didn’t get the opportunity to see Once at the Lynn Auditorium, you missed out.
This play Once the Musical wss sweet, funny and moving. So glad I was able to see a Tony Award winning musical at a small theater in my neighborhood. The actors were superb and received a standing ovation. Wonderful !!!
The whole experience of ONCE was fantastic from the minute we walked in the door of the theater. I loved how the cast was playing music and carousing around the stage before the show started. The cast was so talented and the music was top notch. Special props to the female lead. I can't remember her name, but WOW. She nailed it. The simple/minimal production was perfect for the traveling show, and having the "orchestra" on stage was so cool. When it was over I turned to my friend and immediately said "I want to see it again!" Also, the Lynn Auditorium is a lovely intimate venue. It was my first time there and I will definitely return.
Fabulous talent throughout an incredible show! This was a tremendous performance!
Was not sure what to expect on this show, but the romance, music and Ireland were hooks for wife and myself so we bought second row tickets. This was an amazing play, and Sam Cieri's (male lead# performance #music and singing# gave me goosebumps and tears early on. He is an awesome player. Mackenzie Lesser-Roy was awesome as the Czech girl #lead# and was spot on. Word of warning: I like my happy endings, and resolution to plays/movies that I become emotionally invested in #and yes, they achieved that easily in this production!) No spoilers, but at the end, everyone stood up, clapping, and they all left the stage, and I was like, "that's not it! No, they're not finished!" If it were not for the end, I would give 5 wonderful stars. I would definitely see this again. We watched the movie the next day, and it was ok. We loved the play so much better and can see the reason for the production changes that were made. There is more humor, and romance in the play, and much more oomph too.
This was a great stage adaptation of a beautiful film. The music was outstanding. Very talented performers.
I really love the movie, "Once". So I was excited going into the musical. I was not disappointed. The performance received a standing ovation. I have heard a few dislikes, but all of them were from people unfamiliar with the story. It's not your typical love story.
