I brought my 3 grandchildren. My 3 year old granddaughter was mesmerized. This was the first time she attended a live performance. My 11 year old granddaughter was a little bored and my 7 year old grandson enjoyed it somewhat. It is definitely for younger children. The audio could have been a little clearer. As a whole, it was an enjoyable show.
great costumes and story lines. Kids really interacted. Sang and danced in our seats!
Overall, my 3 1/2 year old enjoyed this show. She loved seeing Minnie and Mickey and all of the princesses. The songs and costumes were excellent. However, there were several scenes that were too scary for her. She was upset by the witch in Snow White and the end scene in Beauty and the Beast. These parts were done pretty intensely and I think given the young audience they could have been toned down. There were several children behind us who cried. Also, WHOA to the prices for snacks. TWELVE dollars for cotton candy. I've never seen parents being ripped off like that!
I took 3 girls. Two 9 year Olds and one 6 year old. They loved the show. We sat in the second row balcony. Our seats were great. We could see the stage perfectly. Special effects and costume changes were exciting and magical! Great performance.
I was hoping for more singing and dancing since that is what my granddaughter is interested in. I've taken her to traditional broadway shows and she loves them. This one seemed geared towards very young children. It appeared as though the soundtrack was all pre-recorded and the actors/actresses were lip-syncing. I could be wrong but that's what it seemed like to me. Overall I would say its a very nice show to take young children to. The 3 stories are cut to a short 15-20 minutes each. The kids also get to see other Disney characters telling the story, such as Donald Duck Mickey & Minnie Mouse and Goofy. The stage production was very well done. Costumes were beautiful. This made for a fantastic visual show for everyone. I would recommend it but be aware this is not a typical broadway production type show, its more along the lines of a Sesame Street show, but is great for kids.
We arrived there about an hour early for the 1pm show.We were locked out of the lobby until 12:05. Get inside, told we couldn't take pictures with the cardboard Cinderella unless we paid $15-$20 for the professional to do it. Get upstairs, pay $12 for a sno cone in a belle cup, get to the door, and the house isn't ready yet. We aren't seated until 12:30. Show starts promptly at 1. People were late getting there, flashlights on, couldn't hold still. Oh, my goodness. It was so loud! Even as an adult it was loud! I convinced my 4 year old to stick it out, we didn't last much past intermission. Left in the middle of beauty and the beast..
We go every year to Disney on Ice and it's always been wonderful. I had a few complaints about this: 1) You have to site CLOSE to be able to see anything well, the stage is very small. 2) The show is rather short, probably about an hour (minus the intermission) 3) The stories, while following the plotlines well, seemed to lack that "disney magic" I'm accomstomed to. The backgrounds minimally changed from story to story, the only thing good were the costumes, The music was "ok". This is a decent show for younger children, ages 2-5. My six year old twins were not terribly entertained, but they're also fairly spoiled by the Ice shows as well.
This was a great show! My daughter & 2 nieces really enjoyed it. Was done in typical Disney style with great costumes & scenes
We've been to Disney Live before and this one did not disappoint either! The actors were wonderful and the stories were just like the movies, even though they were condensed versions. My 4 year old son loved them too, although he was a little scared when "the meaner (Maleficent) gave the princess an evil apple that made her sleepy."
We had a blast. It was amazing seeing the princesses and mickey live. My 6 yr old couldn't keep her eyes off them. The only down fall was the souvenirs were sooo expensive. Ridiculousluckily prices for plastic toys.
I have to say I think sesame street does a better job with the kids. The audio was hard to hear , difficulty understanding what the characters were saying. Quality of the props were disappointing woudl think Disney would have done a better job. Few things in the area for toddlers to see - so I would probably go again but wouldnt spend alot.
Myself and my 2 grandchildren, ages 6 & 3, really enjoyed this show. The music, the costumes, the characters were wonderful. I was a bit worried about my 3 year old grandson being interested, but he was totally focused & kept his interest thru the whole show, especially with the 7 Dwarfs & the Beast. Of course my 6 year old granddaughter loved every minute of every Princess on stage, and sang along with every beautiful, familiar song. The only down side was the high cost of all of the souvenirs and food vendors, this is a family event, why does this need to be so expensive?
We took our 4 year old granddaughter for her birthday. Our seats were on the floor and were perfect. All if the staff were very polite and helpful. This the second Disney show that we have been too and we enjoyed both
My two daughters loved this show that I took them too. They had a blast watching the princesses on stage as well as Minnie and the other characters. My only wish is that they would have walked through the crowd at all. I had purchased floor seating at the end for the thought that they might walk around there but that did not happen.
I think I've definitely created a fond family memory for my three year old. I took here here last weekend for her birthday. She absolutely loved it and was amazed by everything. The costumes are beautiful and the music is true to the original movies so she was able to understand what was happening. The short reenactments are just the perfect amount of time to hold a young child's attention. We bought tickets way up in the front so she would be able to sees me the tickets were very reasonable. Loved the show would definitely go again! Highly recommend! Selina
This show was terrible. The actors didn't sing or speak. It was all prerecorded. It was not worth the price at all and I wish I had known there wouldn't be any performing. Luckily my 4 year old was just happy to see princesses. I will be reading show content more thoroughly before being duped again.
really enjyed the show but a bigger hit with the children they were in awe
This was perfect for my almost 3 year old granddaughter
This was a great show, beautiful costumes, very entertaining and kept the attention of my 8 year old granddaughter. Beautiful facility and parking was a breeze
