Entertaining
U.S. Cellular Center - Cedar Rapids
I purchased tickets before I realized that there are different versions of the circus. I was expecting clowns, lions, tigers, etc for my three old to see. We did see elephants, horses, and dogs along with the basketball players and all the aerialists. It was good show, entertaining definetly got monies worth as it was 2 hrs long. The best part of the show was the pre access show before the show. Kids got to go and sit on the rink and watched performers perform and get closer up to the elephants when they brought them out. They did interactive stuff a few times with the kids. That to me was worth it for my three year old. Overall the show itself I think is directed more for older kids and adults.

My 4 year old LOVED the elephants. However, she had to wait for 2 hours to see them.

Amazing
U.S. Cellular Center - Cedar Rapids
We made this a family event with our son and grandson. The boys loved it and so did we. Well worth the money to create these life time memories. The cast did a great job of making the audience a part of the show by bringing in audience members to participate. Very exciting show.

We loved the circus! Our kids were 2 and 4 when we went. The elephants were so beautiful and cute! The acrobats were amazing and we had many other favorites.

Ringling Bros/Barnum & Bailey
U.S. Cellular Center - Cedar Rapids
They did an amazing job; it was a wonderful show. There were a few things I was disappointed with...the fact that it was only a 1 ring show, and they didn't bring the tigers out (maybe only with a 2 or 3 Ring Show?). My son really wanted to see the tigers perform (he was able to see them behind the big curtain). I don't know if this was based on ticket sales for the show we attended. I just wish there was some way prior to the date of the show to know if it was going to be a 1, 2, or 3 Ring show. That would've affected my attendance to this particular venue. With all that being said, for it being a 1-Ring Show, they did do a fantastic job.

Extremely Disappointed
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents Built To Amaze! - Cedar Rapids
I was extremely disappointed. It has been about 10 years since I was the circus. At that time there were 3 rings, lots of horses, elephants and tigers and lions and bears. This time there were 3 horses with a couple of guys doing tricks, 2 elephants that came out at the end for a very short time. There were no lions or tigers or bears. The did have dogs come out and do tricks which I felt it was really lame. I can see something similar at the fair. It seemed as if the dogs had a longer act than the elephants. In addition, there was only 2 clowns. At least a week before the circus, my 5 year old grandson decided he wanted to know how many clown could fit in a car... Sadly disappointed there was only 2 to see and not a lot that they did. Sadly there were times when my grandson said he was bored and wanted to go home.

I was extremely disappointed. It has been about 10 years since I was the circus. At that time there were 3 rings, lots of horses, elephants and tigers and lions. There were 3 horses with a couple of guys doing tricks, 2 elephants that came out at the end for a very short time. There were no lions or tigers. It also seemed very short. It seemed like we just got there and settled in when it was intermission and then it was over. If this is the way the circus is going, there is no way I will be going again.
