Amazing experience! Great judges! Venue knew what it was doing and new director did amazing. Can wait to go back next year! Prices for (especially for costume and Prelims) were excessive particularly with the number of people who actually came, we were allowed to move to better seats. TIP do NOT sit in center Mezzanine in the very center the boom camera and cameraman impeded your vie (which makes no sense because those are the most expensive tickets in the mezzanine. It seems like the very front would not be a great view because you would have to look up at the stage so back on the sides of the front and mezzanine on either side seem to be the best seats for viewing purposes. I also with they would have used the big screens for costume so we could see more detail. 👍

This is such a great improvement from past Miss USA and Miss Universe venues. I was most appreciative of the fact that after purchasing very great seats, and as expensive, we didn’t have to hassle with people standing in front of us or pushing their way from the back to the front on the aisles and obstructing viewing from those of us seated. From the very beginning there was the executive producer of the event emphatically stating that people are not to stand up and block aisles or stand up tomó strict Boeing from both other attendees and the cameras behind them. It is highly appreciated that this was emphasized more than once. Also the venue was perfect with an auditorium-style slanted seating and not on a flat floor as the last Miss universe pageant I. New Orleans. That was disastrous and truly a bad experience overall. Important pageants must be in venues like the one this year.

I enjoyed the Miss USA pageant, but thought the entertainment value was lacking some due to the cost of the tickets. Would have liked to have seen some professional entertainment within the pageant other than the competition of the contestants.

I chose to attend because I use to watch this pageant way back in the 70's & 80's. This event certainly didn't disappoint. It was very exciting. Baton Rouge did a remarkable job serving as host for this event. The girls went all over the area and toured our many attractions and restaurants. NBC did a fantastic job of capturing this and showing it during the nationally televised show. This was the first year the show ran for three hours. I thought it did take a little longer to get the field cut to the final 20. The videos of the final 20 girls were awesome! You really got to know alot about these ladies. The entertainment of Florida Georgia Line, Nelly and all the rest were very good. No complaints at all. The stage was absolutely stunning! A three story building that looked like New Orleans Bourbon St. on each end of the stage. A giant video screen was in the middle that was able to change the background according to each event. The chandelier background was remarkable and provided a perfect backdrop for the evening gown competition with a spiraling staircase. Everything went well and Miss Nevada ended up winning the crown. The only thing I would change is when the final two ladies are left, I would announce the first runner-up before Miss U.S.A., not after. I hope they change this in the future. As for the future, I surely hope that the Miss U.S.A. pageant returns here. This is a perfect place to have it, the River Center sold out quickly and the girls enjoyed themselves almost everywhere they went. And we enjoyed having them here!

Im still going thru online to see if they have started selling tickets to the Pagent as im traveling all the way from Guam via California to watch who will win the Coveted title of Miss USA 2012 on June 3rd. Im Excited !!!!!!
