PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure on Tour

In the latest live-action adventure spectacle from every kid's favorite cartoon dog squad, Ryder and his crew of ever-resourceful pups must save their bumbling, seafaring friend Cap'n Turbot after he gets lost in a cave — just as Mayor Goodway's Pirate Day festival celebrations are set to begin on Adventure Bay.

En route to the rescue, the team finds a treasure map and sets out to find the booty for Mayor Goodway's event before their dastardly rival Mayor Humdinger (from the nearby town of Foggy Bottom) gets to the goods first. With dog-suited dancing actors bringing the show's beloved canine characters to life before big-screen animated backdrops, The Great Pirate Adventure is an energetic musical revue featuring all the familiar theme music from the show and brand-new songs exclusive to this production. It also features a special appearance from the newest member of the PAW Patrol team, Tracker.

PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure Background

Marshall! Rubble! Chase! Rocky! Zuma! Skye! Many parents know these names as well as those of their own children. They're the tireless cartoon pooches comprising the PAW Patrol, the all-in-one eco-conscious police/fire/construction/aviation/naval team who, along with their trusted preteen ringleader Ryder, maintain peace and order in the picturesque town of Adventure Bay.

Since debuting on Nickelodeon in 2013, the Canadian CGI series has become a staple of preschoolers' TV diets, while its Daytime Emmy-nominated, pop-punk-inspired theme song has become permanently lodged in the brains of parents around the world. (Not that they mind, since the show instills in their kids positive messages about the values of teamwork, nonviolent conflict resolution, and environmental preservation.)

After spawning a toy store's worth of merchandising lines, PAW Patrol made the leap to the stage in 2017 with the internationally touring production Race to the Rescue. That was followed by the sea-themed sequel, The Great Pirate Adventure, that set sail in 2018.

    Exceeded Expectations

by JC on 5/17/24Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

I was really impressed with this show. I took my four year old daughter. I had low expectations both for the performance itself and her engagement. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised how much fun we both had. The amount of effort the actors playing the pups have to put in to handle the choreography, sign, and man their puppet suit is impressive. And the actors playing the human characters had the voices down for them so well, I had to look closely to see whether the were miming (they weren't). My four year old was standing on the floor, holding onto the railing. She was transfixed. We will see the next Paw Patrol Live show that comes to town.

Kinda boring for kids. Wish actors were in whole paw patrol suit ls And that kids were acting and singing. Adults singing dont keep kids attention long

Cute show, but not at all worth the steep ticket price.

    Outstanding set and costumes

by Grammy on 5/14/24Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

I took my grandson to the show as an early birthday present. He loved it! He was so engrossed in everything going on and loved participating when the parrot came on stage. I was so pleased with the detailed set and costumes. The theater was beautiful, the merchandise was of good quality, and the simple snacks were ideal. It was well worth the 9 hour drive to get there, the overnight stay and 9 hour drive home.

I brought my grand kids (ages 2 & 5) to the show in Minneapolis and it was absolutely fabulous. My granddaughter actually screamed with joy many times throughout the performance. Highly recommend the performance.

    Sound Quality

There was non-stop talking from all of the little kids (totally expected), but we found it hard to hear or understand the performers.
