Good if the soundman was on the ball
Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit
The play was great! The understudy was a bit small in stature. The soundman was sleeping at a few points in the play because the actors microphones were not turned on until after they started speaking. Good play!

Great show, horrible service
Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit
Loved the show, hated needing to go through Ticketmaster. This device is the biggest deterrent to our going to more events.

Enjoyable
Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit
Cast was good but not Broadway caliber. Those affecting an accent were hard to understand. Dancing was incredible and we saw the performance with the main character understudy. Cory Betts was fantastic but most of the other characters sub par. Orchestra was amazing and that's what we really were looking forward to as it is Gershwin's incredible music that you'll always remember.

Stupendous
Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit
On the whole this was a very enjoyable production. There were a few costume malfunctions and some times the singing was off key, but the dancing was stupendous. All of the cast were lively and very entertaining. My husband and I totally enjoyed our Mother's Day outing. Thank you.

Loved this play!
Lexington Opera House - Lexington
I truly enjoyed every aspect of this play! The music, the dance, the actors/actress ! It seemed to be over before so fast! ( which meant I was enthralled). My friend, who Is male - lived it but I think It might have been a little too much romance for him- but he was a champ and simply enjoyed the play as a whole! I Highly recommend it!!

Use of Ticketmaster’s phone ticketing was infuriating. Aggravated by the lack of a printed program. Using the QR code was no substitute for a real program. The show was a disappointment. Singers were weak and off key. Acting was poor. Dancing was pretty good but I expected better.

Great evening!
Lexington Opera House - Lexington
The show was fantastic. Great music, great vocals, amazing dancing. The set changes were a part of the show, too. Very creative. And, the Opera House is a superb facility.

Missed it
Lexington Opera House - Lexington
Looked forward to this for months. Our dog became very sick and we couldn’t leave her. We have never been to a bad play at the Opera House, people are always nice and friendly and the ambiance and grandeur of the house is breathtaking. Hated to miss it but she comes first. We’ll be back!
