    Huge Disappointment

by Florida Mom on 3/8/22Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

This show was AWFUL! If the characters had not mentioned the word pink a thousand times, no one would have associated them or the insipid “storyline” with the original book or cartoons. The performers struggled to carry the tunes. The apparent lessons were that boys can like the color pink and you should eat green foods. I know this because I was hammered over the head with that message. I have seen MANY high school and college productions and they were ALL better than this show! The best thing about this show was that it was over in less than an hour!

    Great show for kids.

    by S. S. on 3/6/22

An unexpectedly good show for such affordable ticket prices. The songs were very catchy. The current cast did a fantastic job entertaining the kids in attendance. Our son enjoyed it very much. Only downside is it's really short, under an hour.

My 4 year old cried and we left after 15 minutes

by S. K. on 7/19/19NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

We were expecting to see actors that at least could pass for children - using overly large adults for the parts of Pinkalicious and her brother were pretty tough for our 4 year old to accept. She actually became quite frightened by the experience, and we had to leave the venue after about 15 minutes of lousy acting.

    Cute show

    by K. on 2/19/19City Theatre - Detroit

The theatre is intimate which is nice. The production was cute, but I felt overpriced. The sound system was loud and sometimes the actors microphones needed to be louder than the music.

    Overpriced & poorly done

    by Nikki3434 on 5/7/17City Theatre - Detroit

Costumes were old and plain, set looked like it was falling apart, suggestive use of pink at the end for brother, didn't follow book as much and characters were all older. Could have been more vibrant, sparkly and new costumes like little girls want to see, needed younger actors so brother is younger than Pinkalicious, the set and props needed updated and could have had more than 1 setting and could have followed book better in parts. Not worth $30 a piece for 4 people. I've been to lots of PBS and Nickelodeon productions and I think a high school or community center would do better.

It was a very cute and enjoyable play. My granddaughter loved it. Wish her face was also painted pink.

    Terrible show!

    by Hunnyb813 on 4/26/16City Theatre - Detroit

Complete waste of money. Apparently they could only afford 5 people to put on the whole show. It only lasted about 40 minutes and cost me $140. Total waste of time and money. We've attended better shows put on by high school students.

    Pinkatastic!

    by bnickers78 on 4/20/16City Theatre - Detroit

I thought this was very well done and was the perfect length of time for a young audience. Entertaining and funny for the adults and easy to follow for the kids.

Pinkalicious was a lot of fun!

by XYSH on 4/20/16City Theatre - Detroit

Pinkalicious was a lot of fun for my 6 year old daughter and I. We laughed several times throughout the program, and was also taught lessons on eating healthy. The show lasted 45 minutes which was perfect for us.
