Monster Jam is a fun event for people of all ages. At most venues, children two and under can attend for free as long as they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. However, some venues may require all guests to be ticketed regardless of age. Children aged two and up require tickets for all events, including Early Access, Pit Party, VIP Experiences and post-event experiences.
Please contact your local venue to confirm their specific policy.
Ear protection is recommended for children and adults. Monster Jam concessions sell Monster Jam-branded novelty ear protection and disposable ear plugs while supplies last. You are allowed to bring your own ear protection.
Additionally, it’s important to note that some Monster Jam events can use pyrotechnics before, during and at the conclusion of the event.

It was our first Monster Jam and the kids had an amazing time.
Very disappointed! Not what I paid for!! I understand the show will go on rain or shine when it doesn’t change what you paid for. The monster trucks didn’t and couldn’t do half the tricks of a normal show. They couldn’t get traction to race. Spinning in a circle over and over and driving over the mounds of dirt isn’t entertaining! I can (and did) protect myself and the four young children attending the show from the rain. It is obvious there was no effort to limit the rain on the dirt in the stadium during the very rainy day leading to the show. Some effort, any effort, to make the show better while dealing rain and snow would have helped. Then there was the pit party. Someone moved the pit party inside a tunnel at Empower Field knowing it was sold out then closed it early due to weather!? How does that make sense? We stood in line to get the pit party in for an hour before they stopped letting people in. I hear I’ll be getting a refund but explaining it to four boys age 7 and under wasn’t easy! Still upset!
My family and I had a good time, but it rained during the entire event, which created a seriously muddy environment that the trucks were not equipped to handle for the trucks they perform. Due to the circumstances our first time experience wasn’t what we had hoped it would be. The trucks were unable to do their cool tricks because it was so muddy it hampered the ability for the trucks to have enough power. I think Monster Jam needs to plan better for spring time in Colorado and only perform at an indoor arena so the drivers are able to do what they do do best.
The acoustics were awful and as far as the scoring by attendees, it was a joke. Pretty much a setup act, but entertaining for kids and adults.
Monster Jam let all fans down with their poor planning for the pit party in Denver!!! Should give every fan that payed for Pit Party their money back! Having fans stand in line for 3-4hrs to not see any drivers and barely be-able to get pictures is very disappointing. Fans would have been much happier walking around the normal pit party set up than standing in line for hrs. If fans are willing to deal with the weather then the drivers need to do the same and give fans what they payed for. The main show was great and drivers did an awesome job. But pit party left very bad taste in my mouth. Not sure will get my family’s money any time soon!
Had fun, nothing like Monster trucks, rain/mudd and a chill in the air! Crazy how they left the wrecked trucks on the course for the others to avoid! Family loved it all, and we will be going again!
The show was not postponed or cancelled even though the weather was horrible. It rained all day causing an extremely muddy track. The tricks sucked. All the trucks kept breaking down.
Tickets were easy to find for check in, this was the best lookup experience this time
I got tickets as Christmas gifts for my whole family to go see the champion event for the monster jam. It was raining and the track conditions were so bad that none of the trucks could perform well. I felt like this should have been rescheduled knowing the event was going to not go well with the rain and mud. The trucks need dry conditions to get traction to do their stunts. We could barely make out which truck was which they all were so muddy, they all looked alike and none did anything impressive. It wasn't a monster jam, rather a muddy mess. I paid a lot for the tickets and felt robbed of an experience with my family and especially my daughter as it was her first show ever. Really bummed. I'd recommend not going to any show where the conditions aren't right. It's a total let down.
It was a good experience, my son had a blast. With the rain/snow going most of the day the field became a mud pit so we didn't get the full experience. I was kinda disappointed when we went to get some merch. When going to buy the merch the person checking us out had a bad attitude. when asking what sizes were available he seemed like it was a inconvenience that we kept asking for different shirts/sizes. The El Toro Loco shirt I bought for myself had a hole in the back of it. I feel like there should be a QC check as nothing is cheap at these events.
My girl was so looking forward to going to monster jam. We live in the Springs. Was not able to get to Denver. She is sad!!!
exited off I-25 at 6:15 at exit 211, arrived at stadium at 8:30 and event was over at 9:00. Had purchased a parking pass, but traffic management was AWFUL. I worked many athletic events and never had a traffic disaster like the one at this event. I would have expected more from Mile High.
Not the faults of the drivers but this should have been canceled or postponed. The most exciting part of the event was the racing because they were unable to do anything else.
We always love going to monster jam . I do think the rain or shine policy should be changed . The truck couldn’t do much of anything with the rain and mud .
The actual event/show was great. High energy, extremely fun and entertaining despite the amount of mud & terrain they were navigating! DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing the pit party pass or after show pass. We purchased 4 pit party passes & were refused entry to the “pit party” due to a last minute location changed that caused capacity to be VASTLY smaller than the original location. Our 4 ticket patrons along with HUNDREDS of other individuals were stuck waiting in an absurd line, in the rain for 3+ hours only to be told the line needed to disperse as they were not allowing more individuals in due to timing. This is all because they changed the original location & did not provided any notification of the change to ticketed members. $80 to stand in a line. Do not recommend. The event itself & even the pit party pass said “RAIN OR SHINE” if it’s a limited capacity event, don’t sell an unlimited amount of tickets???
It was raining and very muddy and the trucks could not do much
What a blast! My family member purchased tickets for us for this event. I wasn’t sure if it would be my speed but ended up having the best time. I really enjoyed being able to vote on the runs as well. 10 out of 10, would go again.
Have been taking my oldest to Monster Jam events now for several years and have recently begun to take my younger two for the last couple events. I love the way their eyes light up when they hear the roar of the engines and see all the amazing stunts and tricks that the drivers are able to do. This event has become an annual stop for my family and I and the kids love it. My wife and I both enjoy not only the events for similar reasons to the kids, amazing stunts and tricks, but also as something that we can enjoy doing together and have a fun time doing. Even when there is a crash or a malfunction wife one of the trucks there is always something going on to keep everyone engaged, even if it is just watching the large truck get flipped but over.
Monster Jam should have called off the event on Saturday night do to weather and reschedule the event for a diffrent date.
Best ever! I lived it through my 4 yr old grandsons eyes. He LOVED it and went home and gathered up his monster trucks and headed to the sand box. The drivers were amazing during the pit time we had before the show. All of the staff at the Schott were amazing. There is nothing I can say that I think needs improved.
