I felt like I was at a Whitney Houston Concert - great musical and great performance.
One of the best shows I've ever been to! Loved every second of it!
We we’re a bit skeptical because the lead character wasn’t supposed to be in our show, her understudy was phenomenal. This is my 2nd favorite broadway piece I’ve ever seen. Kudos! We sat in the Loge, were we’d prefer to sit each and every time we go.
I thought this musical was the boom, the singing, the dancing, the acting
I haven't seen the movie so I wasn't sure what to expect here, cuz I'm not usually a fan of musicals. But I'm a huge fan and collector of both Whitney Houston and Deborah Cox, so I snagged a front row seat to see this show at DeVos Hall in Grand Rapids, and WOW -- I was blown away! I don't know how they managed to cram so many Whitney Houston songs into just a 2 hour show, but it was hugely hugely impressive! Deborah Cox's vocals were spot on and she looked great too. Definitely an enjoyable show and GR was lucky to have brought such an amazing performance to town!
More of a Whitney Houston tribute without the talent of Whitney. If your going to make this about a great singer, have a great singer do it.
After The Bodyguard shoots the bad guy, the bad guy falls down but actually lands in the orchestra pit! Just a little added drama to a fantastic Broadway show. Must see! Don't miss it
Deborah Cox brings it! This updated version of the movie is superb , especially the karaoke scene - - laugh out loud. Matthew, DeQuina, and Judson are hysterical. I've seen this show multiple times and I'm never disappointed
The cast was awesome!!! Go see the show if you haven't. You will not be disappointed.
The music was great it you Love Whitney but it was not the same as the movie soundtrack. A lot of the music from the movie was included but many were not and other Whitney Houston music from the 1980’s was added instead. The play and acting were not great at all it was only the music that held our attention.
Amazing singing. Good acting. Fun and uplifting show. Good date night.
This musical brought back so many Whitney memories! Closed my eyes and I thought Whitney Houston was on stage. Deborah Cox was phenomenal!! Can't say enough. And, Kevin Costner -- move over for Judson Mills
The performance by Deborah Cox was incredible as it is very difficult to compare anyone to Whitney Houston!!
I really enjoyed The Bodyguard. Vocals, design, costumes, and choreography was on point. Whitney would have been proud! Although Deborah Cox wasn't at the show her U/S did a spectacular job at filling in for her. She is a very talented lady. The show also had a nice pace. I would definitely recommend it!
Highly recommended where we saw it with the understudy Jasmine Richardson in a matinee performance which we thought was awesome. Loved Whitney in the movie and Jasmine did Whitney proud. If you love Whitney, this will provide a load of happiness!
This was a phenomenal play and I would recommend it to anyone of all ages. The music was great, the acting was great....Deborah Cox rendition of Whitney Houston songs were awesome! The show started on time and kept the audience engaged throughout. I got emotional at times because it just brought back memories of Whitney Houston but to say the least I would see it again if it comes back to Detroit.
Excellent play. Deborah Cox was magnificent. The cast was wonder Full. I actually cried, I want to see it again
Amazing stage play, helpful and courteous staff! A must see
Cast and play were both stellar!! Definitely worth seeing. Deborah Cox was amazing!
It’s good to have good time to change your mood and feel better
