The show was really amazing. My daughter loved it very much. The singing was great, as well. Altogether, wonderful performance.

    Storytime Live is Cute, but...

by asil on 10/18/10Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

Cute, but more like a high school production. My 5 year old really liked it, but it was not as much fun for the adults. Yo Gabba Gabba was a much more fun show for all of us because it was much more interactive. I would have given this show a much better review if the ticket prices hadn't been so high.

Waste of Time and Not worth the Price

by Lee123456 on 10/18/10Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

I was very disappointed. Not only was it EXPENSIVE, the costumes were terrible. I would assume that one of the largest TV networks could afford better costumes. You would think that they would be wearing REAL costumes, not wearing thin small costumes with all their faces all sticking out. It wasnt even believable for my child. And the wonder pets, they were like puppets, driven by humans on stage. My child was very disappointed.

    not worth the money

by ktrah on 10/18/10Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE - Los Angeles

Sorry but I had a 2 year old and a 7 year old with me both girls and the 2 year old was bored and roaming the area. Wasn't until I got her popcorn that she would even sit! The 7 year old said most of it was dumb and boring, she felt the only thing that was somewhat good was Dora! The $120.00 it cost me to take them was NOT worth the money! We could have gone to Disneyland for just a little more. (Since the 2 year old would be free)

    Story time live!!

by missChris4 on 10/14/10California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

This was a wonderful show for children of all ages and adults too! It was fun and entertaining all the way through the end. I would highly recommend this show to all with children and love the characters of Nick Jr.. I only wish the show was around longer and with more showings, because my son did not get to make the show with us. We would have enjoyed watching it again but with him! Can'y wait until it comes back into town!!

    Too Cute!

by Anonymous on 10/14/10California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

Despite the change in the date (without notification), it was worth the wait! I decided to surprise my girls and they were truly shocked to see their favorite characters come to life! Definitely a great event at a local venue. Sure does beat having to drive 20+ miles! The sound was a little low (Moose and Ming Ming especially) but the actors did a great job with their energy.

Storytime Live was a fun time!

by cookieof2 on 10/14/10California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

My boys were engaged the whole time! Highly recommend even if you only have seen one of the shows on t.v. the show is for everybody. Wish the sound was louder when they were speaking though.

    Great show for my preschooler!

by gracesmommy on 10/14/10California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

Storytime Live was great. My (almost) 4 year old was beside herself watching the show. The stories were familiar and characters very recognizable. There were plenty of opportunities for the kids to stand up and participate in the show from their seats. Very engaging and the length of the program was perfect. I would recommend this show for toddlers at least 2 years old and up.

    Nickelodeon Story Time

by wilki1004 on 10/14/10California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San Bernardino

Took our 2-1/2 year old grandson. He had the chance to see his favorite TV characters live on stage from 30 feet away. At the end the kids got up and danced to the music. It was one of those moments that we will never forget. After the show all he could talk about where the Wonder Pets, the Backyardigans, Moose and Zee, etc.

    Not as expected

by probablynot on 10/7/10JOBING.COM ARENA - Glendale

The show seemed like a good thought at the time. The tickets were a little pricey for the actual entertainment. We paid for the "best" seats, which happened to be the worst. There had to at least be 100 floor seats filled with parents and children. Parents who were practically impossilbe to be seen over by my 4 year old. During intermission we actually moved up to the higher stadium seating, which were about $35 cheaper. The comfort and visibility was suprisiingly better than the more expensive floor seats. Overall, my son did enjoy the show for the second half. I would not recommend this show to anyone that I know.

    Cute for little ones

by chamcalidor on 10/5/10JOBING.COM ARENA - Glendale

We went with our 3 year old son who loves to watch Nick Jr. He was excited about seeing the show, but became a little bored halfway through it. Our seats were not very far from the stage, in the first row of the second section, but I think he would have been more attentive if we were closer. I thought he'd have trouble seeing over people's heads in the floor seats, but in hindsight, we should have sat there. The show was cute though, and my son really enjoyed singing along with all of his favorite characters. If you're going to go see this show, be sure to spend the extra money for the floor seats. You won't be sorry.

    Save your money

I think the idea was interesting but the execution was not. I would save the money and take the kids somewhere else.

    Storytime Live

    by Dora35 on 10/5/10JOBING.COM ARENA - Glendale

I was so completely excited to take my daughter to see the storytime. They are all her fav cartoons, esp Dora. However I was completely disappointed. The characters were cute, and to be honest Im not sure if it was completely the show or the face that Dora and Kai-lan were actual people and she was maybe expecting the "cartoon-like" Dora/Kai-lan The stage was completely small, once the show started it expanded a little from the from backward, not foward to bring statge closer to audience. Props were a little highscool. Lots of fabric props, not all horrible, but I guess I expected a little more with all the hype and ticket prices. You could see a lot ot the stagehands, things could have been displayed/presented a little cleaner. I had previously taken my daughter to see Elmo, and could really tell she was excited and liked it, however I didnt really see it with this event. I was able to get into the elmo, but not this event. I guess I cant completly place my finger on why it was so disappointing but the daugter has not spoke of it since. For a little girl and the cartoons who were in it, thats speaks voliumes.

I was so disappointed in the overall quality of the entire production!~ Not one person (especially Dora or Kai-Lan) could sing on key. The stage props and backgrounds were no better then a high school's. We might as well have stayed home and watched the same episodes on TV! The price was OUTRAGEOUS for the quality and we got the cheapest tickets possible!! Friends of mine had floor seating and were even more disappointed then us! Nickelodeon did a HORRIBLE job on this one. They are no Disney for sure!! There's no way Disney would have ever let something so poor continue. What a rip off!! OH!! And not to mention you are not allowed ANY camera's.. I would have really liked a picture of my kids there but they threatened to confiscate my phone if I took pictures!! RIDICULOUS!
