    Excellent time!

by ACSummers on 9/10/17North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

At the Low Country Jazz Festival, all the performers were very entertaining. The venue was comfortable, clean, and not overcrowded. The show started about 20 minutes late, but other than that it was a great experience. It was great that some of the proceeds went to a good cause. Jeffrey Osborn is a great entertainer and we look forward to seeing him in concert again one day. We also plan to return to the Jazz Festival next year!

My Soulful Jazz cup, runneth over!

by Leeandrea on 9/8/17North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

This 3 day event is what the doctor would have ordered, for me! Each performer entertained with a spirit of EXCELLENCE! Most of the artists were first time pleasant surprises for me. Brian Culbertson & Jeffrey Osborne were familiar faces and truly did NOT disappoint! The entire package was worth the financial investment!!!

    Amazing Show

by Ronnee53 on 9/8/17North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

This show was absolutely amazing!!! From start to finish I was very pleased with the entire event. Although seating in the venue was uncomfortable due to small seats being too close together, the show was awesome!

    Uncommonly Spectacular!!

by Oldschoolflav on 9/7/17North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

The North Charleston Performing Arts Center was excellent. Comfortable seats, plenty of leg room between rows, perfect temperature setting, and unobstructed views of the stage from every seat! Lots of vending options were available in the lobby area. I actually enjoyed the caramel peanut popcorn! Vendors and staff were courteous and friendly. The crowd was outstanding! Everyone was laid back and relaxed. So refreshing to see well dressed patrons with men wearing fedoras and stingy brims instead of baseball caps. The concert itself was probably the perfect mix of jazz and old school R&B. Rick Braun, Richard Elliot, and Norman Brown opened up with uptempo cuts. Each artist got to perform solo and they collaborated as a trio for the final tunes. Although the crowd favorite was Norman Brown, Richard Elliot really put it down with his energy and sax solos! Jeffrey Osborne ended the evening with the type of performance that leaves everyone smiling. Jeffrey sang his songs and a healthy dose of the LTD classics not to mention a few others during an audience participation segment confirming the power of Old School music. Jeffrey also came out into the audience to let a few fans test their "Woo woo" chops. Jeffrey put on a MUST SEE performance!! All phases of the evening were uncommonly good. From the venue, to the crowd, the music, the artists', the atmosphere, everything made for a SPECTACULAR night.

    Fantastic Time

by ChoclateCandy on 9/6/17North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

The concert and the venue were simply fabulous. The band that opened for Jeffrey Osborne was one of the best I have heard performing music from multiple genres. From the moment they opened their show, the audience was on our feet moving to the groove and jamming right along with the band. When Jeffrey came down the aisle, the audience exploded with excitement. To sum it all up, Jeffrey Osborne still got the moves and the voice he had from many, many years ago. I recommend everyone attend this event if not for the great music then to support the great cause (Closing the Gap in Health Care in South Carolina). We will be there to celebrate the next anniversary of this great event

Dont miss next year's 10th Anniversary

by LowCountryCitizen on 9/6/17North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

The 9th annual Low Country Jazz Fest was wonderful! Each nights performance just got better than the previous night. Richard Elliot, Rick Braun, & Norman Brown are the reason I keep coming back (Jazz Perfected!!) But Jeffery Osborne was the cherry on top of the event. BRAVO to Low Country Jazz Festival. Looking forward to next year.
