THE SHOW OVERALL WAS VERY NICE. SOUND WAS PERFECT AND LIGHTS AND DANCING CAPTIVATED MY 2.5 Y/O DAUGHTER WHO IS NORMALLY A BUSY BODY THAT CANNOT SIT STILL. I SPECIFICALLY BOUGHT FLOOR SEATS HOPING THAT SHE WOULD HAVE SOME CONTACT WITH THE CHARACTERS AND WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT ONLY A FEW CAME BACK PAST THE 5TH ROW OF SEATS TO INTERACT WITH ALL THE KIDS. IF ONE DOES IT, THEY ALL SHOULD!
The character interaction and dancing was incredible! My wife and 17 month-old had a wonderful time! I highly recommend this show and, if you can swing it, the character Meet and Greet.
The Seasame Show "Make a New Friend" was perfect for 3-year olds. Staging, songs, dances ( with encouragement to join in) entertained the granddaughters very well. The two 35-40 minute halves were an appropriate amount of time.
Excellent! The ages in our group ranged from 2 through 9. All were entertained with an excellent mix of music. Story line relevant and perfect for kids.
The show was good with all the lovable Sesame characters. However there was very little plot and a lot of songs w signing, and I think my son would have liked it more with character action rather than songs that we didn't know. the speaking parts and songs were a little difficult to understand as well over the speakers.
We loved it.....we took our two year old daughter and she was in awe she absolutely loved it...it was just long enough to keep her interest but not to long where she starting getting antsy. Will deff be going again if they come back!!
Awesome show!!! Love it!! My daughter & friends enjoyed the show!!!
Engaging show for kids. My 2 and 5 y.o. grandaughters enjoyed it. In our seats, the musical numbers were too loud for the 2 year old.
Sesame street did not perform the number or the letter of the day.
My grandchildren were amazed and they had a dancing good time. Ages 1 at 2 months girl and boy
I've seen quite a few Sesame Street Live! events over the years and this particular one was a huge flop for us. The music wasn't memorable and the storyline dragged. The children were very restless throughout the whole arena. In the past there has been a lot of fun songs to dance to and interactions with the characters. This show we only had Cookie Monster come close enough to interact with us. At this time I don't think we'll go to any more shows after this huge disappointment.
Initially, I was a little worried that my almost 18 month old would not want to sit thru the whole show. His reaction was the complete opposite! We left out twice once to get a souvenir and once during intermission. He didn't want to leave! He cried because he thought we were leaving the show. All of the lights, the singing, the dancing, and actually seeing the characters in real life was amazing! He loved loved loved it, even made it a new Friend! He participated most of the show. ☺️
My children loved the show, the show included a cultural exchange with a character from India. The message seemed to be inviting of those who are culturally different. Overall, it was an entertaining family show with lots of songs and dance sequences.
I thought the show was excellent for the little ones. Except for one thing: It was wee bit long for toddlers needing potty breaks and naptime! I would cut it by 30 min at least.
My opinion at this point is if you've seen one Sesame Street Live you've seen them all. Nothing stands out as making these shows different at all. Sure, the theme is different but overall the same stuff.
My daughter will be 2 in august and she started off enjoying the play but after 30 mins she lost interest. Our seats were one up from the floor so the stage and character view were good. This was a nice 1st time play for her, not crowded at all.
This was a PreK graduation present for my son and he was so excited. He was on the edge of his seat, if not standing, the entire time. He loved it. The meet and greet was amazing.
The show was great but the meet and greet should have more characters and they should have been able to autograph for the kids. For the price u paid for the tickets u could have gone to Sesame place.
So everyone at Boardwalk Hall was great very helpful. The venue is also clean ... Always a plus.
