Directions:

From southside Richmond: take Powhite Parkway (76 North) to downtown expressway to the Belvedere Exit. Make a left at the light to Cherry St. Cross Cary St. Enter parking deck from Cherry St. From Norfolk/Williamsburg: take I-64 West to 5th Street downtown exit. On Main St. Take a right and go approximately 10 blocks. The theatre is on the right and parking is on the left at the corner of Laurel and Main St. From 95 South/Petersburg: take 95 North to downtown expressway to Belvedere Exit to Pine Street, make a right to dead end to Main Street, make a left and Theatre is at next corner. From Charlottesville: take 64E to the Belevdere Exit, make a left on Leigh Street, a right on Belvedere and right on Main Street. Theatre is one block down.

There is a VCU parking deck located on the left hand side of Main Street that is across from the theatre.

The box office is located in the main lobby on the North end. Pick-up tickets one hour prior to show. Customer must present the actual credit card and a photo i.d.

Accessible Seating:

Accessible patrons must call the box office to make arrangements. Accessible seating sold through the box office is limited, therefore, only one ticket will be sold for a companion within the same section. The person needing an accessible seat must be present to purchase. Additional companions are sold as close as possible.

General Rules:

No food or drink is allowed in the auditorium.
No smoking is allowed and no beer is sold.
No bottles, bags, backpacks, boxes, cameras,
radios & books permitted for any event.

Children Rules:

Children's policies vary for each event.

No children under the age of 5 years are allowed for Virginia Opera events.

Miscellaneous:

Concessions are located on the first floor, one level above the lobby area where coffee, drinks and snacks are available. Restrooms are accessible.
Seating capacity is 3,565 or 3,616 with the pit.
