Directions

The Fox Theatre is located on Woodward in the Historic Theatre District.

DIRECTIONS:
From the North: I-75 South to Grand River Avenue Exit. Immediately Turn Left at Second Avenue, crossing over the freeway to the Northbound Service Drive.

From the South: I-75 North to Grand River Avenue Exit. Follow the Northbound Service Drive across Grand River, Enter the Fox Parking Tower on the Right.

From the East: I-94 West to I-75 South. Immediately Turn Left at Second Avenue, crossing over the freeway to the Northbound Service Drive. Enter the Fox Parking Tower on the right.

From the West: I-96 to I-75 North to Grand River Avenue Exit. Immediately Turn Left at Second Avenue, crossing over the freeway to the Northbound Service Drive.

From the Lodge (US-10): Take the Lodge South to I-75 North, Exit at Woodward/John R ramp, make two immediate Right Turns crossing over Woodward. Facility is on the Left.


Parking

Fee based lot parking is located in the Fox Parking Tower, next to the Theatre.
The Fox Parking Structure is located between Woodward Avenue and Park Street, just south of I-75 (Fisher Freeway.) Entrances are on the Fisher Freeway service drive and Montcalm Street; the 1,100-car parking tower is well lit, secure and includes 32 handicapped parking spaces (handicapped parking spaces are adjacent to the glass elevators on all eight levels.)

Box Office Hours

Effective Sunday, August 16, 2009 the Fox Theatre Box Office will be open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The box office will be closed on Sunday and Monday unless there is an event then the hours would vary.

MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Travellers Cheques, Personal Checks, and Cash are accepted.

Will Call

Will Call tickets are available beginning 2 hours prior to showtime. Customers will needs their Confirmation Number, the credit card the order was placed under and Photo Identification.

Generally, cameras, audio and video recorders are not permitted in the Fox Theatre; this policy, however, is altered to accommodate the preference of the artist. To inquire if cameras, audio or video recorders are permitted for a particular event, please contact us at 313.471.3200.

Miscellaneous

Many performances do not permit late seating; therefore, please allow adequate time to arrive at the theatre, undergo security screening and find your appropriate seats. It is recommended patrons plan to be seated at least thirty (30) minutes prior to the scheduled show time. Once a performance has begun, patrons may be seated in an alternate location – or not seated – until an appropriate interval in the performance. This policy will be adjusted as necessary at our sole discretion to minimize disruption to the performance.
