Directions:

The Theatre is located on Congress Parkway, between Michigan avenue and Wabash.

From west of the city:
Take the Eisenhower (I-290) which turns into Congress Parkway. Continue east on Congress Parkway under the old U.S. Post Office and the Chicago Stock Exchange. As you go under the EL tracks at Wabash, the Theatre is on the left.

From southwest of the city:
Take the Stevenson (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive northbound. Take Lake Shore Drive to the second exit past The Field Museum of Natural History (Balbo) and drive west to State. Proceed north to Congress Parkway, and then go east to the Theatre.

From north of the city:
Take the Kennedy/Ryan (I-90/94) to Congress Parkway/Chicago Loop exit. Continue east on Congress Parkway under the old U.S. Post Office and the Chicago Stock Exchange. As you go under the EL tracks at Wabash, the Theatre is on the left.

From south of the city:

Parking:

The Auditorium Theatre is surrounded by pay lots within a short walking distance. There are several lots along Wabash on either side of Congress. The garage across the street, the Auditorium Garage is NOT affiliated with the theatre. We recommend the following parking for our patrons.

Public Transportation:

For CTA/Metra/Pace call (312) 836-7000. For TTY call (312) 836-4949. Jackson Park/Englewood/Howard "L", go to Jackson and State. Exit on Van Buren, walk East to Wabash. Go South on Wabash to Congress Parkway.


Ravenswood, go to Wabash and Adams, walk South to Congress Parkway.


Congress/Douglas/O'Hare, go to LaSalle and Congress, walk East on Congress 3 blocks.

Doctors or others who expect urgent calls during a performance may give their seating location to
an usher who will advise the Theatre Manager.

Day/Night of event: Box Office closes 1/2 hour after the performance begins.




Types of Payment Accepted:

The Box Office accepts AMEX, Visa, MC, cash and personal checks up to two weeks prior to the show.

Will Call:

Tickets held for Will Call may be picked up on the day of the performance anytime during the regular Box Office hours. The customer must present a valid form of identification and the credit card used to place the order. The customer must have the actual credit card, a picture ID, and the confirmation number.

Premium and Auction tickets can be picked up one hour prior to the performance.



Accessible Seating:

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University is accessible to all patrons and fully complies with A.D.A. requirements. Various levels of accommodation are available to patrons that require assisted listening devices, signed performances, or handicapped accessible seating. For more information on accessibility, please call (312) 431-2389 x0. Additionally, our Patron Services office located in the main lobby of the theatre is open throughout performances to assist patrons with any needs they may have.

General Rules:

Smoking, cameras, and recording devices are strictly prohibited.
Binoculars are permitted.
All sales are final--no refunds or exchanges
Latecomers will remain in the lobby until they can be seated by ushers during the first convenient pause in the program.
The Coat Check is seasonal and located in the Main Floor lobby.
Lost and Found - Articles should be reported or left with the Theatre.
Manager's Office off Aisle 1 in the main lobby.


Children Rules:

Everyone needs a ticket. Children under 5 years of age are not admitted. Any person who disturbs the performance or other patrons will be asked to leave the theatre with no refund issued.
