Directions:

From The North Bay:
* Take 101 South across the Golden Gate Bridge.
* Follow 101 South on Lombard Street to Van Ness Avenue.
* Turn right onto Van Ness.
* Follow Van Ness to Golden Gate Avenue, turn left onto Golden Gate Ave.
* Look for parking in this area behind the theatre or across Market on 8th Street.
* Drop off is on the left on Hyde before Market.
* Entrance to the theatre is on Market St. Near Hyde.

From The Bay Bridge:
* Stay to the left and take the 5th Street exit.
* Veer left at exit onto Harrison.
* Follow Harrison West to 7th Street.
* Stay to the left across Market Street.
* Turn left on McAllister 1 block to Hyde Street.
* Look for parking in this area behind the theatre or across Market on 8th Street.
* Drop off is on the left on Hyde before Market.
* Entrance to the theatre is on Market St. near Hyde.

From The South Bay:
* Take 101 North towards I80 (Bay Bridge).
* Stay to the right, take 7th Street exit.
* Stay to the left on McAllister 1 block past Market (the road turns left here).
* Take McAllister 1 block to Hyde Street.
* Turn left on Hyde Street.
* Look for parking in this area behind the theatre or across Market on 8th Street.
* Drop off is on the left on Hyde before Market.
* Entrance to the theatre is on Market St. near Hyde.

Parking:

Limited street parking is available. Be careful of any signs indicating illegal parking because of construction zones or time/day restrictions.
* Meters run Monday through Sunday until 6:00PM.
* There is a Farmers Market behind the theatre on Wednesdays and Sundays which makes street parking very difficult for those matinee performances. Also, many public and private lots are in the area, such as:
* Trinity Plaza Apartments: Enter on 8th Street on the left just past Market. Look for sign marked "Entrance".
* CARPARK: Enter at yellow signs to the right on 8th Street just past Market.
* Holiday Inn: Indoor lot on 8th Street to the right, 1/2 block past Market.
* CARPARK on 9th Street: Go down 8th one block, turn right on Mission. Continue one block to 9th Street and turn right. CARPARK is at 55 9th Street, on the right just before Market.

Public Transportation:

From BART or MUNI:
* Get off at the Civic Center station stop.
* Come above ground at the Hyde/Market Street exit from the station (the West end of the station).
* The lobby of the Orpheum is on Market Street where the stairway comes up at the corner of Hyde & Market Streets.

Types of Payment Accepted:

The box office accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If purchasing tickets at least 10 business days in advance of the performance, the box office will accept personal checks with the name and address imprinted from a California account. The purchaser must have valid California I.D.

Will Call:

Customers may pick up WILL CALL tickets at the Box Office beginning 2 hours prior to show time.

Customers must provide a photo I.D., the same credit card as that which was used to make the purchase and the confirmation number given at the time of sale.

Accessible Seating:

The accessible seats are in the Orchestra section, as there are no elevators at the Orpheum. The seats are sold at the lowest price for each performance. A companion may purchase a ticket at the same price.

The Orpheum offers Sennheiser Infra-Red headsets for the hearing impaired. They are available in the lobby before the performance and may not be reserved in advance. There is a limited number available.

General Rules:

* There is no dress code at the Orpheum. Most attendees dress as if going to a nice restaurant for dinner. In addition there are:
* No cameras or recording devices allowed.
* There is No smoking in the Orpheum theatre.
* Late seating will be conducted at theatres discretion.
* Pagers should be turned off or set to vibrate during the performance.

Children Rules:

No children under five years of age are allowed to attend theatre performances. This includes babies held in a parents arms or on their lap. Everyone must have a ticket.

Miscellaneous:

There is no coat check available.
Security guards will be wearing easily identifiable orange jackets that say "Orpheum Theatre Security" on them.
