I was really really looking forward to this event. However, I was really really disappointed by it. Technical difficulties can happen, understandably. But the performer shouldn’t walk/run offstage, just to fix the headset, which happened multiple times. If the headset couldn’t be fixed AFTER the first song, then a handheld mic should have been used throughout the remainder of the show. It wasn’t until the third or fourth song that she grabbed a mic, but even then, she didn’t use it for the remainder of the show, only sporadically. Even though there was a live band, the track vocals that she sang along with were so loud that half the time it appeared she was lip syncing instead of actually singing. She also walked backstage after every song (not always for wardrobe changes), sometimes leaving her dancers on stage by themselves to help fill in the time while we waited for her to return to the stage. There were even a couple of times that it was just the band playing music while we waited. Choreography was basic at best, nothing spectacular and definitely not fluid, although I do give her props for dancing in stiletto boots. All in all, I thought the whole show was very amateur, something I could pull off myself at karaoke night. Tickets were overpriced for the quality we got. I did give her one star for incorporating a few of the original dance moves and some of the iconic Britney outfits from her videos.
