by Anonymous on 10/31/16Southern Theatre - ColumbusPhenomenal performances by the entire cast! This modernized production in which several characters sang (beautifully) made for a great theater experience. The play is extremely powerful and, even though it's about an uprising in Ireland in 1916, it's hard not to relate it to the polarized politics we're facing in the US today.

No longer did I feel the need to go to New York to see a great play performed by great actors when such a world class production was available here. I hope this is the beginning of a trend.
