The Jerry Douglas Band Tickets

While I've listened to his music for years and seen him in videos and on DVD's this was my first time seeing Jerry Douglas live. It won't be my last! Very few things in music will top Jerry's smile and look after a bandmate finishes a solo letting him know he did a great job. And a lot of these solos are duets with Jerry and they are HARD! I should say his fellow bandmates are on the same musical level/frequency as he is which is why I titled this review the way I did. My wife, Sandy, and I had a blast the entire concert! I should also note we have seen many concerts at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and absolutely love it there. The hall has great sound and the entire staff were both funny and very helpful. We can't wait to go back!

The Jerry Dougls band was outstanding. In addition to Jerry, clearly the best Dobro player on the planet, all the musicians were world class. Fantastic show. 5 Star music.

I will not begin to try to give all the reasons why Jerry Douglas sis indeed a Notion Treasure. His talent has been shored on live performances and recordings with the who's who of country, folk, Americana,, and international music. He is a man who truly loves his music and thrives on sharing and mentoring other musicians in the US and throughout the world.. To say that he plays the cobra is like saying Michelangelo painted a few ceilings. Thank you, Jerry, for sharing your gift and your love with all who hear, and love your music. Top notch musicians, playing a modern take on bluegrass. If you love good music (mostly instrumental) and superior musicianship, this show is for you.

Jerry Douglas and his extremely talented band entertained an enthusiastic crowd at The Delmar Hall last Friday evening. Playing most of his new release, What If, the musicians merged musical styles seamlessly. It was a fantastic show!

First time at Delmar Hall....great little venue...wonderfully nice staff . The music was, of course, fantastic. I would have expected no less. My only complaint was that the show ended.
