Jamaican reggae songstress Tessanne Chin has been gracing audiences with her powerhouse voice since first breaking onto the scene in 2013. Whether she's singing No Doubt's "Underneath It All" or belting out one of her acclaimed originals, Chin commands the stage with her vocal prowess and effortlessly cool style. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Influenced by her musical family, Tessanne Chin got her start pursuing music at a young age, attending a performing arts school in Jamaica at age six. After earning a spot on Jimmy Cliff's three-year tour, she began writing songs for her debut album In Between Words and performed at several reggae festivals in her hometown. Chin earned her big break on the 2013 season of The Voice, quickly becoming a household name and going on to win the competition with her earth-shattering voice. Since then, she's sung at the White House for President Obama and performed alongside legends like Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight, earning her salt as one of soul's biggest new sensations. On the road in 2014, she'll headline The Voice Summer Tour in support of her highly anticipated self-titled debut.

The main performer came out and sang songs no one cared to hear so much so when he finally showed up at 12:30 we left after the first few songs. Huge waste of my time and money . Especially disappointed because I bought tickets for 6 people for over $350 hoping to take them out to enjoy Valentines weekend, major fail!!!!

I never felt short changed... I got more than my money's worth!!! I loved her strong sense of humour and awesome personality that was given in the concert... I have to praise Tessanne on how she maintain a delightful performance in a packed house from start to end!!! I can tell, she enjoys what she does!!! I'm Looking forward to see her there once again....in many more concerts!!!

I have been a fan since her appearance on The Voice and attend most of her concerts in NYC since and have absolutely no regret. She is just an extremely talented professional that continues to grow. Ms. Chin has a way of building RAPPORT with her audience which is truly genuine, as does her back up singers Thamar Williams and Ifidel Williams. Her performance was spot on and you can truly see a grammy in her near future!!! She received a STANDING OVATION for performing "I Have Nothing"!!! Amazing TESSANNE CHIN IS THE VOICE OF THE CENTURY!!! To top it off she brought my daughter on stage to as a volunteer to do the "SKA" so sweet to my daughter and put her at ease. As a mom if anyone has any doubts about bringing their children to a Tessanne Chin concert BRING THEM!!!! Such and amazing performer!!!

But hearing her performing live was unbelievable. Her rendition of I have nothing that she dedicated to Whitney brought the house down, standing O for 5 minutes. Her set included some of the songs that she sang in The Voice, like Try, I have nothing, Redemption song, and Underneath it all; songs from her new album Count on my love; and songs before The Voice that gained her fans all over the Caribbean like Messenger and Hideaway. She was constantly interacting with the audience, even danced ska on stage with a little girl who was at the show. The two backup singers of her Bread and Butter Band were also unbelievable. Worth the trip from Tennessee for the show. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
