    The performance was excellent.

by HF on 11/9/22Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

Starring Buffalo is simply a gift to Buffalo. The idea of the two former Buffalo kids to bring Broadway performers here and invite local actors to join with high school choruses is both amazing and admirable. I did not think the music of Evita was a good choice for the group.

    Evita Buffalo Production

by Jeanette on 11/8/22Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

Disappointed. This was like watching the cast rehearse while holding scripts and there were no costumes. Music and singing was excellent but wish it had been advertised with the scaled back production.

    Needed synopsis

by Cindy on 11/8/22Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

I wasn’t familiar with Evita. While the singing voices were beautiful, some didn’t enunciate well and I couldn’t get the gist of the play. I had to look it up on The internet during intermission.

    Evita 10 times

by Weis on 11/8/22Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

Beautiful Theater, unexpected wonderful presentation. Che, Mistress excellent. Peron the best ever, we have seen Evita 10 times all over the country and Peron in this show was worth a $400 ticket we paid $150 for both. Cannot wait to see what's next!

    Excellent Show

by Dianne on 11/8/22Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

This was a great show. The talent was unbelievable. It was a unique concept of the actors just singing the songs and having the music in front of them. The stripped-down version with no props and costumes made you really focus on the music and words. The high school choirs behind the actors did an amazing job. It was an enjoyable evening and a really nice theatre to see a play. Nice and small and intimate.

    Great experience

by Bill on 11/8/22Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

It was a great experience all around! A very different presentation to be sure, but such an intimate production. For those that don't know, this is a very bare presentation, focusing on the music and the story. There is no set or costumes, and the performers have rolling music stands to refer to. Costume changes are minimal as well. However, the music was still phenomenal, and there were two high school chorus groups backing up the main performers. I would go again!

    Fun experience

by Stephanie on 11/8/22Shea's 710 Theatre - Buffalo

I’ve never been to a Starring Buffalo show before. I love Evita and saw it at sheas years ago. This was more of a concert of Evita but just as enjoyable. It was all about the vocals and they did deliver. I will definitely check out another Starring Buffalo show in the future. Sheas 710 is a fabulous venue.
