Slow Burn’s production of The Prom was amazing!! I’ve be seeing their shows for years and this one was one of their bests. I highly recommend taking the whole family - it is best value entertainment in SoFl. Truly Broadway caliber cast!
This is the third slow burn production I’ve attended. The acting, singing, music, lighting, and set is always exquisite. I can’t wait for the next show.
I loved the show , 5 stars. But it was spoiled because I thought I was at a legitimate site to buy tickets but was rooked! Friends paid less to sit in a box to watch Madonna than I paid for these tickets.
The Prom was an excellent performance by Slow Burn Theatre. Regina Brown performed as Emma, the main character, and she was born for this role. Her voice is a gift and her timing and acting are fantastic. I expect to see her on Broadway in a few years.
Every time I see a production by slow burn I’m blown away by the talent. The prom was no different. Such a fun night at the theater. I loved every minute of this.
Very well done show- great singing, dancing and story line!
Great show and great message. All the singing and dancing reminded me of what Broadway was a long time ago. Don't miss it.
The prom is an important story to tell and this version is no exception. It was so well done...the singing, the dancing, the acting...just phenomenal. The actors were well chosen and filled their roles exceptionally well...Oh do I have anything bad to say...No! The sound in the theater was great. I could hear everything and I was in row P. I was thrilled to be a part of the audience that watched The Prom. Saturday matinee...not a full theater...didn't matter, the audience was into it.
A fine cast delivered an important story with music, dancing, and laughter. Vote Blue in 2024.
